I am sure it has been answered and if so, please point me in the right direction. Attempting to get my whole family seats for Pearl Jam, 5 of us but the limit is 4. Assume, my wife will have to set up a ticket master account to get all 5 seats?

Correct. Then you can buy 4+1, or 3+2 if someone gets added at the last minute.

There are a few venues with 5 in a row, or 2 rows with 3+2. Got a particular city in mind?

California has 2 new shows that look like are going to have full sections of tickets available for "buy one, get one" on Groupon in a few weeks.  Fresno I get, its hard to get there, but with Sacramento being so close to the Bay Area, that one should be selling much, much better, IMO.

Meanwhile MSG is selling Platinum seats in the thousands and Camden sold out immediately.

Pearl Jam has been an east coast band for awhile now.  These results shouldn't shock anyone.  And I dont say that it anyway as an insult to the people who live on the west coast/Seattle/Cali - but the demand is honestly probably exponentially higher on the east coast than the west, anyone looking at it objectively can admit to that.
Full disclosure, I’m a born & raised East Coaster who now has lived on the West Coast for the better part of 30 years.

I do have to disagree with your statement though. The band made a major misstep adding the Sac & Fresno shows, I’ll admit, but that doesn’t mean the demand isn’t here. Adding Sac & Fresno gave those who may have held onto tickets from 2020 for the OAK shows an opportunity to give those up for one of the new shows if it was closer option for them to attend. Then you need to factor in those who chose to refund their tickets because they’d rather attend the newly added Vegas or Camden shows, and now you have a cluster fuck.

Pearl Jam traditionally has always sold out their shows here on the West Coast and I guarantee you if they hadn’t added those two shows & Vegas to this leg, the OAK shows would be sold out for sure. Hell, they were pretty much sold out before the pandemic hit. So I think what we’re seeing right now is a more a result of the pandemic and adding more options on top of the rescheduled shows then a demand issue.
I agree that adding Sac & Fresno was probably a bad call.  They'd been better off adding a second Vegas show and/or a couple other Western cities not in Cali such as Salt Lake City or Albuquerque.
Promoters for shows in various cities offer an amount to the band to be there.  If the offer is attractive the band accepts and they make their money.  If tickets don’t sell somewhere that’s the promoter’s risk.  Doesn’t make it a bad call by the band.

For a band that prides itself on having a good connection with their fans, the goal should be to play for as many fans as possible per night, compounded by the apparent fact they do not like to tour often. So make each day away from home have as much impact as possible

Just because Live Nation will take a reduced profit on some of these west coast shows does not make the tour routing a good call by the band. It was already a heavy west and central slant when drawn up in 2020 and all three of the net shows added were in the west.

It was asked above how Baltimore and Albany would do…they’d sell out quicker than it took me to type this comment.

Thanks, yeah Oakland. I already have 4 purchased working on getting my wife set up for the last one. If not we will be split up, have 2 through the fan club in the pit.

If the billing info is the same address, I think they have a built-in Fail-Safe that recognizes that.

I would create another account using her maiden name or one of the kids names and then use a different credit card or get a prepaid Visa master or Amex and try that.

Is it ridiculous that you would have to do all that? Yes. But hopefully that does the trick.

If not, is there anybody here who's willing to buy said seat for Oakland and meet up with this fellow?

When was the last Houston arena show?   That city has like three downtowns.  I never know when I’m actually downtown.   Skyscrapers over on this side and then a bunch of skyscrapers in the distance.

NOLA has been Voodoo Fest and Jazz Fest.  They played to about 45,000 people last time.  Pretty sure they can sell out arenas there too if they wanted.   It’s always cool to see them play in the daytime tho.

    Atlanta -  same

    @AcISpeculation Pearl Jam,
The National, NIN, LL Cool J,
    Spoon, Interpol, Willie Nelson
This is the real problem with a Houston and the Texas Tour in general.

ACL puts a contractual block on headliners playing a show in Houston 90 days before or after the date.

Voodoo in NOLA does the same (which is ridiculous - the city is a 6 hour drive away with less than 1/8th the population).

They get paid more to headline either of those festivals than to play a single date in Houston.  Plus it's a shorter show, less wear and tear on their gear, less work for the road crew, etc etc...

The cost to benefit ratio for a houston tour date makes little sense compared to either festival, unless you want to do it for the fans....

That's why I'm going to LA for a weekend ;)...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

Surprised how many great Vegas seats are available for face value.

    Sec 11, Row F
    Sec 9, Row Q
Sec 216, Row A (almost whole row)
It's like a weird perfect storm creating this. From there being too many California shows, to the crazy high airfare and hotel prices in Vegas that particular weekend. I was joking with my wife that going to Vegas that weekend would be about as expensive as a trip to Disney World.

I grabbed Section 15, Row V in Vegas on the F2F.....I doubt that I will be able to make it, but the seats were too good to not at least grab and think about for a few days.    To the comment on flights / hotel, etc.....probably a no-go.  Went out to Vegas for Sweet 16 / March Madness and had a great time with friends.  Vegas is a much easier ticket than I would have expected.

Additionally, I am coming out from Atlanta to LA2....had pairs in Section G Row 13 and Section H Row 3.  Sold Section G.  Found a fantastic pair yesterday in 126 Row 10 which I bought.   Will probably sell the Section H as I think the 126s are slightly better, but would love to get others opinions.

Had Oakland (from 2020)......was going to go out with friends in 2020.  Sold two pairs for N1 and one pair from N2 and they went quick.

Other general thoughts as I've been checking out the F2F.

    * Fresno is ridiculously easy to get tickets to.....however, traveling there is a nightmare.  Flights out of Atlanta would cost me $1,000+ for each ticket on Delta, United, etc.  Seeing GAs available via F2F is crazy.

    * On the East coast....Camden is the new Baltimore with Nashville a close second.  Seeing some tickets pop up for Saint Louis, but those shows will be mega sell outs when the band finally comes to the East coast.  Disappointing that the band didn't add a few more East coast shows in Fall (festivals aren't the same as arenas....)  ....hopefully, Leg II.

    * The one question that I have is if you bought a "PJ Premium" ticket are you forced to exchange it for the price you paid.  Can you take a loss meaning to offer to sell it for less than you paid?  Some people are going to take some serious hits if you can't take a loss as the F2F supply continues to drive the PJ Premium prices down which is a great thing for fans, but man it would suck if plans changed and you couldn't take a loss rather than EATING the whole ticket.

Yes, those that bought premium tickets for big $$ are forced to sell them for the same price that they paid from what I've seen.  There's no way most of those premium F2F tickets will sell.

Flying out from Atlanta as well.  Doing both LA shows and doing Nashville in the Fall.  I hope they add more East coast dates too.  The demand is certainly there.  Hopefully we eventually get some love here in Georgia!

Atlanta please!!! And not a festival show!!! (Although Music Midtown rocked in 2012)

I bit the bullet and am all in on going to Vegas. Flight wasn’t too bad but hotel is pricey!! Oh well. Other California dates were more difficult with my teaching schedule.

Heading to Nashville and St. Louis in the fall!

Man... I looked at those Fresno tickets yesterday, and it is maddening...

All afternoon there were a pair of GA tickets available for face value...

The number of unsold seats is hilarious and frustrating to me living in Houston... 2.4 million people in Houston proper, 7 million people in the surrounding areas, plus 2 major airports with hubs for southwest and united, hotels galore... yet somehow people question if this place could sell out a show...

I guarantee you there would be less tickets available than there are for Fresno.... lol...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

There would be less tickets available than 99% of all US cities.  Band could easily sell out multiple arenas in multiple Texas cities and play to many more loyal fans.  But they choose not to.......unless.....ACL.

    ugh...

i don't know if I would do it this time.  I went to ACL 2009, and both times in 2014...  I am an old man now... I don't want to stand out in that heat (2014) or mud pit (2009) to see them play a greatest hits setlist (tho to be fair weekend 1 2014 wasn't that).... i just can't be bothered... I would probably skip it.  Good luck to them.  I want a a bathroom with plumbing and other creature comforts... i rarely get out of the house anymore with 2 young kids, I don't want to do anything that drains me... guess i'm lazy in my old age...  I hate to see what happens when I actually get past 40... lol...

To be honest, ACL fest is probably the best run and organized of all the major US festivals.  The demographics are also much more diverse across all age groups including us older peeps in the 35-60 age group.  There is always a legacy act and its really an easy festival to enjoy yourself without dealing with crazy, unruly crowds.  Obviously, I'd rather PJ play an arena show in Austin (Play Austin you pussies!) but if they choose another major festival, I'll be glad if its ACL.
