Breaking Bad was a stretch as well but still a great show.I agree. None of this stuff bothers me one bit. I am just all in, totally engrossed in the crazy story. I couldn't care less if it's realistic. Obviously it occurred to me that it IS unrealistic, especially how the Byrds just keep getting away with everything, but I don't mind! There are far more unrealistic shows that this out there that are well loved. I mean... they are rebooting Quantum Leap folks, haha.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0

I started BCS at a bad time (too many other shows going at the time), so I need to rewatch that. I think I got through season 1, not sure, but I barely recall any of it.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

I hardly recall much from the last season. It's weird but I feel like I say that for every season, yet, when the show is on, it's really really good. Just so much time in between seasons.HughFreakingDillon said:I started BCS at a bad time (too many other shows going at the time), so I need to rewatch that. part of the reason I like to start a show once it's done. I can stream it at my own pace without having to wait a year or longer between seasons. The Juggler said:

Gah. Barry too? And Stranger Things? I feel so out of the loop on many of these. It’s been so long between seasons it’s easy to forget without some reminders here and there (so thank you too). The Juggler said:

my kids are frothing at Stranger Things 4. I'm looking forward to it too actually. they are nuts for that show. posters, hoodies, etc.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

I wonder how it’ll be now that they’re all in their “teens”. I kind of dug the innocence of the first season. The Duffer Bros had better not disappoint!0

its a very slow build but great in the same storytelling way breaking bad was.

Thanks for the heads up, for some reason i'd forgotten about the timeline! The one issue I have with these type of shows is actually what happened in episode 1 - his partner thinking it would be a good idea to screw over the cartel. In a million years how would that ever be a good play - no matter how much money is at stake lol.(2000) Mansfield I, Mansfield II (2003) Montreal (2005) Montreal, Ottawa (2006) Albany (2008) Montreal I + II (EV) (2022) Québec City 0

This show in recent seasons requires a lot of leaping of faith from the viewer, but this didnt bother me. I think you could chalk that up to them underestimating their 'client' (emphasized by Marty mocking Del's fake 'scarface' routine before he started killing). Also Bruce was your prototypical alpha-male meathead who thinks he can do anything he wants.nautical_disaster said:Thanks for the heads up, for some reason i'd forgotten about the timeline! Oh I hear ya and I agree with your points, I'm just nitpicking the point that you should probably never underestimate the cartel lol. It's a solid show and i'm really curious how it all plays out.
