all of these great shows require a certain level of suspension of reality expectation though. 24, Homeland, Ozark, none of these shows would really happen. But it's super entertaining.

For sure.  24 was a great show but no way they got around so quickly.

I didn't love it.  I want to, it's just getting too outrageous. I enjoyed it, don't get me wrong and I guess it was always unrealistic, but yeah, just feel like it's all exaggerated

    Team Ruth though
I love it, but agree it is all way to over the top.

No way a cartel leader is coming to the US to do what Javi is doing.  No way the CEO will buy from the cartel vs let the company just go under.  I would expect that the suppliers to big pharma would figure out pretty quick where it is actually coming from.  Can go on and on…
Yeah this part was really befuddling to me.

Ha.  Diapers are standard issue for counter terrorism.

“Airplane” was more true to reality.  Taking smoke breaks, sniffing glue breaks, meth breaks, etc….  Bodily functions didn’t take a pause for a few hours.

Normally, I try to not be in the habit of picking apart every little inaccuracy and everything that the viewer needs to suspend a little disbelief for...

But this show is getting a bit hard to look past it all, and hard to not roll my eyes more often.

Not sure why this family is allowed to have their way with the Mexican Cartel, the FBI, KC Mob at one point, a major pharmaceutical company, midwest aristocrats and the political machine, all while constantly screwing up and getting all the parties deeper into the shit.  Like the FBI could have (and has had plenty of cause to) tap their phones and in one day had enough incriminating evidence to probably take down the Byrds, the Cartel, a major pharmaceutical CEO, a hillbilly who is clearly killing people unmolested and growing an industrial level of poppies/heroin in visibility of a casino, etc.  But instead, they need to play along with the Byrds to stop a shipment of weapons.  "Oh, here you go.  have $150 million guys!"

I do like the show, and it is fairly entertaining to see where it all fleshes out, but IMO it isn't nearly as neatly packed as other similar anti-hero shows in the same type of genre

I just hope they don't waste an episode on dream sequences or flashbacks.  Keep the story moving forward.  I will never, ever stop hating Bloodline because they wasted an entire episode on a dream sequence in the final season.

The first scene of the new season hasn’t happened yet and it looked like a big happy family in the car

Damnit!  The whole damn Part I of S.4 was a flashback since it started in the future.  You've ruined this for me!

I don't get that but to each their own.....I think the series is great.

Breaking Bad was a stretch as well but still a great show.

The whole Breaking Bad show as a huge stretch. Still one of the best ever.

I've always felt Ozark is a stretch too, they're just ramping things up a couple notches as they inch towards the end. Great television .
