I held off yesterday on booking a family trip the first week of August thinking we'd get the dates yesterday. I'm going to book it today, but will hold off until the afternoon.....but I can guarantee if they don't announce today, once they do, the MSG show will be that first week of August. I have some type of magical power that when I do one thing, 4 other new things get scheduled for that same period shortly thereafter.

That would be right after they get back from Europe. Just a gut feeling that they don't play within 2 weeks of the European tour.

Has Ohana hinted at anything yet for announcement timeline?

Quite pathetic what they are doing to their fans right now. You KNOW they have at least 95% of shows officially booked - and that's probably been the case for weeks/months.

Just fucking announce the shows already. People work. Traveling is expensive these days. It's only going to get worse.

Agreed. If there are May dates that run right up to Europe then I would expect August to be clear.

Yeah, flights in general, but for April and May especially, took a massive increase over the last week

Ohana hasn't even announced the dates for 2022 yet, let alone the lineup.  If that's what we are waiting on, then we have quite a ways to go.

Pearl Jam has to announce and sell their many California shows before announcing Ohana, if they are indeed playing there again. The California schedule and timeline is a mess.

I see it the other way around. The arena shows will sell out. They are already at least half sold out right now. Ohana if they are playing there will take the hit with the attendance being announced after the arena shows.

I also just don't see how there is anyway that there can be less than an 8 week heads up for a show, that is my personal cut-off.

So 8 weeks from today is May 3rd, so I am assuming that May 4th is the earliest this thing can start.  And so on.

I agree, but I don't think Ed is going to be too keen on tanking attendance at his own festival. Particularly since he just played a makeup date with the Earthlings in LA where ticket sales died. The whole thing seems like a mess to me but I'm of course unsure what they are thinking and planning.

They probably won't play LA for awhile after 2022 is over.

Welcome to The Amazing Tour Race. Here are the dates. You have 40 days to reschedule your itinerary. First 10c member to cross the GA line with as many shows under their belt wins a year’s membership dues (no shows next year). Thanks for playing and good luck!

The ironic (and a little pathetic at this point) thing is that this announcement we are waiting for is just rescheduled dates for cities we already know about plus a few more.  It is like they enjoy watching us all battle over scraps.

These posts are hilarious. Nobody forces us to travel to see shows, nobody forces us to re-arrange adult responsibilities to see a concert and  nobody forced anyone to hold on to tickets that could've been refunded.  Its a band. A band we love,  but just a band.  Our true relationship with them is transactional.  They do the shows they want and we go to them or we don't.  They aren't our friends. They aren't our employees. Our music/ticket/merch purchases don't make us shareholders in their operation. Any suggestions to the contrary is simple delusion.

The band doesn't make a dime without their fans.

That gets in the way of the next merch sale.
