I think it is two things. No matter the political stripe everyone seems to agree that we need to send a message that unprovoked attacks on peaceful nation states is not ok. The other thing is how this will affect american oil production. I think many people see this as a chance to ramp american oil and gas production up. I did read that we actually have more rigs going now than we did 4 years ago, so the argument that it is all joe's fault is moot.
