    OK but African Americans are represented on the SCOTUS(I'll admit under represented). Other ethnic groups have not been represented at all. America is made up of more than just Whites, Hispanics and African Americans and those other ethnic groups should at least have a chance of being represented on the SCOTUS.

    I've always scratched my head at people who claim trying to get an underrepresented group represented is somehow racism. he's not saying he's going to just nominate any old nobody who isn't qualified. this is in line with diversity hiring practices that have been going on for decades. generally, only white people have a problem with it.

    I m all about getting the best person for the job but I think Biden gets a pass on this one since there has never been a female African American supreme court justice.  Finally we ll have one 245 years later.
