Haha.  Very limited.  This was the Amazon white version.

For those interested, this was mastered at Sterling by Randy Merrill.  The lacquer was likely cut by Ryan Smith as he is in the runout groove.  Decent sound, but not amazing.  Nice music though.  I think I'll draw a bubble bath, get some fragranced soaps and listen tonight among some candles.  Pamper me, Matt.

I just now stumbled upon (from nowhere) a podcast talking about the "Freddy's Greatest Hits" album. And it's just not some random people talking about albums. The podcast-host actually interviews the person behind the album and talks about why it was made and about Robert Englunds contributions.

I FINALLY HAVE SOME CONTEXT. Amazing.

So I was in B&N this morning getting Houses of the Holy for my son for his bday, and I picked his up because I didn't have it and knew the record,  knew it's very good.  But nothing about this Turquoise edition... $20 so wtf

What a surprise to find out it was all analog,  mastered by KPG and pressed at RTI!  Sounds amazing,  as good as my Astral Weeks and Moondance.  It's dirt cheap on Discogs too, an absolute steal.

Cool!  Didn't know they had that.

BTW. Purple Rain pressing from Target is highly recommended.  It's purple and cut by Kevin Gray. Just came out.

Red vinyl Foo Fighters just came out as well. I preordered it a few weeks ago and it showed up today. On Discogs it said it was cut by Wes Garland. You know more about these things than I do.
