2022 North American rumour thread take 2

Is it safe to say that have access to the number of tickets that are still being held and those that have been refunded? As others have said, a January announcement of a tour that is starting in March is not that uncommon. Perhaps they feel confident that they'll be able to sell any tickets that have been refunded in that amount of time?

I've waited this long (and it's really been a no brainer). I can certainly hold out another couple months. Of course, it's easy for me to say only holding tix to one show that I can drive to. Others that have multiple shows and airfare are certainly in a different boat.

I'm almost sure they have that information. And that's essentially what I did. I can drive to Baltimore so that's a no brainer for me. But Its too far into the game for me to schedule anything more than Baltimore and maybe 2-3 shows on a Thursday-Sunday depending on what the final tour looks like (assuming it is in March)

We know that there are over 10k tickets available for QBC show, which wasn’t sold out even before the pandemic. I’m expecting that show to get canceled, with them calling it a “scheduling or routing conflict” due to the ticket sales. No clue about the others though.

anything on the east coast or on a weekend will be just fine

For the past few months I've just assumed nearly identical dates from 2020 for a spring 2022 makeup tour, official announcement after the holidays. Definitely would prefer to book flights/hotels again, but doubt we'll see much info until January.

I see no scenario where we hold tickets for as long as we did and PJ cancels the show since they can’t sell some seats behind the stage. The QC head guy already said they are in talks of setting a date months ago, 0% is bold but the only way I see QC getting axed is if the whole tour does, How bad of a look would that be to cancel a show thousands of people held tickets for for a couple of years due to not selling out. Budapest survived multiple euro rescheds with just ok sales and they do not even have behind the stage seats. 0% should never be an option since anything is possible. I think it’s very close to that though

Probably buried pages ago in this thread, but looked in my archived emails, 2020 North American Tour announcement and pre-sale was sent out 1/13/20. 1st show of tour was 3/18.I think that was the shortest duration between pre-sale and 1st show that I can recall seeing since at least 2011. Means nothing today, just re-surfacing that info. FWIW

I say have a great holiday season and relax a bit on this. I think we've heard from all the folks who are spicy over the ticket hold and lack of information. What more can be done at this stage? I do feel for some of you where it seems the lack of news has really been bothering you or upsetting your life balance!

I was excited as hell for the new dates when concerts started up again over the summer. That then turned into frustration sometime in Sept/Oct.

I’m no longer frustrated, I’ve just completely lost interest. I’ll hit up 2-3 shows in the spring if I can and set my eyes on the rest of 2022 and the second NA leg.

We are getting tix for the show here in Boston on 3/15. I'm still holding my Balt tix but at this point if there is a conflict I'll probably just stick with the local show.

I bought Brian Fallon tickets for March 5th the other day. If it ends up being a conflict with PJ I’ll deal with it down the line. Not overly concerned either way. It will be what it will be.
