    After seeing 5 of these shows (Santa Cruz, Berkeley 1&2, and LA 1&2) I have had some time to think and reflect...and...I am convinced that we got to see the best show of the tour on the second night of Berkeley. What an amazing experience that show was. Would have still been awesome if it had ended after Hard Sun, but no we got to see McCready wheeled out on stage for not 1 but 2 more songs! Here is my rankings of the shows that I went to:

    Berkeley 2
    LA 2
    Santa Cruz
    Berkeley 1
    LA 1

    And if I rank them all (it is hard as I didn't go to all but I used the setlist/fanviews to come up my complete tour rankings):

    Berkeley 2
    LA 2
    San Diego 2
    San Diego 1
    Berkeley 1 (maybe should be higher...sattelite was f'ing amazing)
    Santa Barbara
    LA1
    Vancouver 2
    Vancouver 1

    Sorry Canada! Ed saved the best shit for his country! Feel free to disagree...but for me this is where I am at right now. Still trying to take it all in!

    When I think back to the fact that I didn't have tickets to Berkeley 2 until two days before the show, and I was thinking of not going at all ...

    Funny, I was thinking of not going to Berkley 2. I was just too damn tired. To think of the fact of getting off work early, going up there and getting home at around 1:30am and waking up early for work. UGH. Somehow I went, THANK GOD.

    From the 5 shows I saw, Berkley 2 was the best. The pre-meet ups at that college bar were fun. I had a blast night 1 hanging out with peeps. It was so laid back and relaxed much better than L.A. But yeah, Berkley 2 was my fav show.. drum circles and all! LOL

    Yes, I am a Patriot would have been nice but we shouldn't wish for too much. We got Sean Penn and Mike McCready and I think we got the longest Ed Vedder show! ;)

    Oh hey, I stayed at the Ramada too for Sunday night. lol I traveled with EMC and his wife to all these shows. So, I guess we did cross paths!! I'm not sure who is pearlgirl2000. I'm really bad with people and their screen names. I don't really post much on here except for like times when the band or it's members are in some tour.

    I live in Roseville and I thought the same thing you did about driving back after going the day before for Berkeley 1. Only I decided not to go to Berkeley 2. I'm ok with it, except for missing out on Mike.

    Just over a year ago, wow, seems like it was last week!

    Bumping this so the people going to the next block of shows know where the bar is set for an amazing Ed solo show.

    Zellerbach....damn, I passed it by last weekend and it sure did bring a lot of excellent memories. Talk about a bar set high!
