With guitarist and all around cosmic musician John Frusciante back in the fold, the boys are firing on all cylinders, their hearts are full and they’re fixing to unleash an infinite river of creativity, and rock your world.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been around, and have not just fallen off the turnip truck, but to a man, they have never been more thrilled, bursting with commitment and purpose, as they are regarding this upcoming tour. They have no interest in resting on past accolades, awards or commercial success, this is a mission, they intend to channel the most mighty spirits, and give everything they’ve got.

i saw them 4 times in 2000.    We drive down to LA for the millenium show (so in 99 and 00), then they played Vancouver with the Foo Fighters in May (which was my least favourite time ever seeing them, because the FF are way to energetic of an opening band), and then opening for PJ twice in November.

And I haven't been back to a show since.... maybe this will get me to go again :)

I did not but I quickly warmed up to him. His energy on stage is awesome. He was even rocking out during the Haves with EV in that little
    piano lol.

Knew about him from when he and John worked together back in the early 00s. Was pretty stoked when they announced him as taking over for John. I’m With You is a strong record! One of my favorites!

  • Have seen them only once in 2017. Not one of my favourite bands but like enough of their stuff to go plus they are a seminal band. Frusciante back changes the game for me and makes me keen to see them with him in the fold.

Never seen them however I recently got into the Stadium Arcadium album and just found a new found love for this band. Dropped off after By the Way. If they came back to Oz I’d certainly make the effort to see them.

  • I saw them twice on the Mother's Milk tour. Once at a small club called One Step Beyond in Santa Clara CA, and at a larger venue in Oakland. Kicked ass both times.

Depending on the ticket price, I may go. I've seen them before, and while they have a ton of hits, so many have that same mid-tempo so I remember it coming off as a dull show.
