I mean we're at the Jersey shore, no better place for it!
    Haha!

Hope you all have a blast at SHN! Can't wait to fly out to SoCal next week!

Large spread in children translates imo to poor choices by the parents. Polarizing opinion, maybe, but it's not a coincidence that child infection rates are higher where adult infection rates are higher. We are their best defense.

Delta variant vaxed breatkthrough cases seem to be running around 1 in 5/20%ish. The difference being you have a far lower chance of getting severely sick/intubated and/or dying.

We're all taking measured risks with everything right now. If the idea of being at a music festival with a lot of people makes you squeamish - for one reason or another - then I would advise to stay home. If you have the vaccine, and you aren't someone who is immunocompromised, you'll be fine with near certainty. There is also a pretty good chance - more than 0% - you may get it, but you most likely won't be intubated or die.

FWIW, I bought home covid kits to test ourselves after. Also will get a PCR test after 3-4 days. We'll be masking up anytme we're in dense areas (so most of the time).

I say none of the above with offense to anyone, but just calling out the reality of all of it.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable and safe weekend.
I agree but I think you can be "squeamish" and still attend the show, by taking extra precautions.  I'll also be testing myself after the show.
Play it safe and chill in the way back with the extra elbow room.
    Absolutely!

I thought that would be the case for MMJ last week but most people did not seem to mind working their way to the actual front

Nice! This tour has been great.  I've been spinning the 2015 live vinyl too.

I said this is another thread, but I'll make my prediction here too:

    Corduroy opens the show
    Long Road opens the encore

Facebook groups. Join Dimis group if you are not in it yet. There will be plenty. I work the next day at 4am but plan to watch the whole thing. I will try and post links as the pop up and drop out.

I actually had no idea periscope is done. Only used it for PJ shows though.

May have to reactivate Facebook for a night.  Thanks for the heads up!

OK, how about an entire ocean related opening set:

    Amongst the Waves
    Gremmie Out of Control

Big Wave (to get the Whale taste out of our mouth)
    Marker in the Sand

    What did I miss?
Maybe a little EV 'Out of Sand' tag at the end of a song? lol

I might be the only one but I would love to see You Are into DOTC. Seems like it would work really well.

I'd be down for that. It would probably transition pretty well.

Hell yes. Can’t get much better than that. I’ve been refreshing forecasts like mad. After Wrigley 13 and 18 rain delays (memorable in their own right) I’m very much okay with clear sunshine!! Going to be a bluebird day.

I’m not certain but there’s a bunch of trucks near the Count Basie theatre in Red Bank right now and no show. Have a feeling the boys are practicing there. Which if I’m right will literally kill me since I can walk to it.

If you have a chance to catch sound check it's absolutely worth it!!!  Caught the soundchecks for all the Fenway shows and PJ20.  It's like your own private concert...You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
