Pretty cool that the band went right down the beach in a tour bus to the stage a few minutes ago.  You could see the whole band inside.  They were waving and taking photos.  😁
OMG! Thank you for this photo! This was the coolest thing last night- gave me the chills- the gods were arriving. I didn’t know you could see them & they were taking pictures! They were probably just as excited to see us, as we them.
😁 Seeing a tour bus rolling down the beach just feet from the incoming waves was surreal. Such a cool night!
I can’t stop talking about it!  Are there any videos?
Indeed a cool, cooler, coolest night…I want a t-shirt that says “I saw Pearl Jam last night and you didn’t”

On a side note… I took my 12 and 15 k it year old daughters down to the other end of the beach to see Matt & Kim and we were able to get almost to the front of the stage.  Which may not have the been the best decision as the show went on with Kim flashing the crowd, them throwing anatomically correct blow up dolls into the crowd and a host of other eye opening moments 😳 We had a good laugh about it and I’m pretty sure they will never forget that show 😂
😂 a story for the ages!

How did you do making your way back to Surf stage for PJ?
    🤦🏻‍♂️

They had a walkway set up along the snow fence by the water.  It was pretty easy to move back and forth. My wife held our spot at the surf stage.
Oh smart strategy! I didn’t know the walkway was there. Was afraid if I left my spot I would never make it back.

Thanks for posting the photos as well! Great shots!
👍🏻  Not my photos obviously…. If you go to the festival website and scroll to the bottom there is a “press” link that navigates to the photos and other promotional stuff.
I figured but didn’t want to assume!

Awesome show. Probably the coolest concert venue I’ve been to with the ocean on the right like that. Had a great, great time.
It was pretty sweet.  If they do Telluride again you should check that out too.  Oceans or 14,000 foot mountains.  Spectacular.

It was nice being on the beach. But it was a nightmare getting out of there on the few narrow staircases they had back up to the boardwalk. I ended up hopping over the railing.

Anybody got an update on the late night show at the Stone Pony?  I sold my tickets Saturday morning after I saw video from the Friday show at wonder bar… not ready for a tightly packed club with no masks.
I was there until about 1:00 and just the announced bands played while I was there. Some dude who I never heard of sang with Tangiers Blues Band.

It was tightly packed in some areas and I'd say 99% weren't wearing masks. I was able to find a spot near a side bar where it wasn't packed at all. I had plenty of space.  I put my Mask on when I walked out through the crowd.

How far back did everyone stand?  We were about 100 yards behind those 2nd speakers. Could see screens a bit.  Wish they had screens mid way back.  Was a blast though. Couldn’t have imagined better weather.

Me too - we were even with the front of the soundboard on Mike’s side. My original plan was to hangout more around the festival and post up in the back for PJ, but once I got a sense of how big the space was I realized that we just had to camp out at our main stage spot from Patti Smith onward.

Probably were standing pretty close to each other then. We were second row on the railing of soundboard on Mikes side. Was a great spot.

Same here.  I started from the back at about 8:20 and worked my way there.  Was happy with the view.  Not close but could still focus on the stage rather than screens the whole time.
