    there is one type of medicare supplemental insurance that aca does not negate pre-existing conditions. i think it is the one that joe namath is hawking in tv commercials. forgot the name of it, but next time you see the commercial look that one up. it is sketchy.

    We are. State mandate was already in place beginning this week. I just pushed forward on ordering 1,000 tests from Cue Health for our unvaccinated employees. That's $70,000 on product alone not counting all the staff hours we'll end up putting in to this whole shit show. Between the tests and getting people to submit their vaccination proof, it's been pretty much all a lot of people have been working on the last 2 weeks.
    It's a hopeless situation...

    The Biden administration is preparing to begin offering coronavirus vaccine to migrants in U.S. custody along the Mexico border, where illegal crossings are at their highest levels in over two decades and health officials are struggling with soaring numbers of infections, according to two Department of Homeland Security officials with knowledge of the plan.
    Until now, only a limited number of migrants have received vaccine while held in longer-term U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facilities. Under the broad outlines of the new plan, DHS would vaccinate migrants soon after they cross into the United States as they await processing by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
    Vaccine would be provided to those facing deportation as well as migrants likely to be released into the United States pending a court hearing, said one of the two officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the tentative plan. Migrants who are quickly sent back to Mexico under the Title 42 public health law would not be offered a dose, at least during the initial phase, the person said.
    The Biden administration plans to use the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, whose single-dose regimen is better suited to a transient population that may not be able to coordinate a second shot, the DHS officials said.
    In a statement, DHS spokesperson Meira Bernstein said the department will “continue to monitor and reassess” its pandemic protocols, but she insisted that no decisions have been made. “At this time, our protocols have not changed,” she said.

    Because everyone knows that if President Biden announced it, there’d be a flood of Central and South Americans streaming across the border and taking covid vaccinations away from deserving ‘Muricans, resulting in untold hundreds of thousands of more deaths of true, patriotic ‘Muricans. President Biden doesn’t want that on his conscience and knows it’s political suicide. Plus, Ivermectin is available south of the border so no worries.

    my guess is it will fall on the employers to pay for the testing. but they may make it so the government reimburses them.

    in my opinion it should fall on the employees who refuse to get vaccinated. start taking money out of their pocket every week and you will be surprised at how fast they change their mind.

    if i had 103 employees and did not want to have to pay to test the unvaccinated ones, i would fire 4 of them to be under 100 employees. but that is just where my head is at with these fucking antivaxxers these days.
    This plays perfectly into the non vaxer mantra though.

    Everything can be twisted into "SEE, they are forcing you to take it, no freedom!!!"
