    I had Braves-Dodgers on and I was glad the Braves were losing but just could not bring myself to "root" for the Dodgers - I really can't stand everything about that franchise.

    Haha. I hate to say it but I've respected their org since like ~2014 - at first I laughed them off because I thought all they'd do was spend money. But then they brought in Friedman and they've done it all - bought players, developed players, traded for guys without flinching about taking on salary, found value in waivers, Rule 5 guys, etc. I hate to say it but they're a really really really good org that if the Phillies weren't dumb should be emulating them.

    I just came to that realization this morning. With the long weekend, it just snuck up on me. Supposed to be stormy tomorrow afternoon. I think the last time I saw them at the Mann there were huge thunderstorms that rolled through while they were performing .
