Winter Classic? I see Pat Finnerty is there, too, should be a good time. I guess he's too big time to do multiple shows at a smaller venue now. Then again Boot & Saddle is no more and I probably shouldn't have booed him in an intimate, acoustic setting..

Any of you guys see these drones? Wife and I saw a few of them circling our area last night. I'm sure it's probably nothing...but it's definitely weird as fuck. Felt like the big one was watching me last night as I was filming it. Creepy.

But if you're sure it's probably nothing, then you're not sure that it's possibly something.

Drones are so invasive. A few years ago, a girl I know was sunbathing topless in her back yard (that's surrounded by trees and very private) with air pods in and her eyes closed. She opened her eyes to see a drone had been recording her for who knows how long. She covered up and ran inside, and the drone took off. Some perv is probably jacking off to the video right now.

people, men often, can be really awful to fellow humans.  like most things drones can have some cool applications like drone shows and stuff but in the wrong hands can be very invasive.  it's not like our government will tell us what they are but it's a bit crazy to think what they could be and what damage they could  easily cause.

one interesting thing i heard today on Preston and Steve this morning was a few drone owners including Steve said when Biden was in town  the government somehow could disarm drones and not allow them to be flown when he was in town. like people tried to use them and they wouldn't work.  found that fascinating especially when thinking about the current ones flying around.

Drones are great for like nature documentaries and scientific research, but yeah, put them in the hands of the wrong people and they can be used for all types of illegal shit.

Saw Wicked on stage when it first came out, it was pretty good.

Did you all end up getting tickets to upcoming shows?

Thought about Pittsburgh but I'm good, too much going on as it is. And honestly it's gotten to a point with the ticket process - plus, **the new state of things** has me reluctantly saying they're not a band that I need to see more than once or twice a year. I think I'd rather see them play locally once a year or plan some kind of trip akin to an away Eagles game or something. IMO they're just not that band anymore, which is totally fine, we're all fucking old now. I mean getting them in Philly on a Saturday night is still bonkers fun, but if this is the new format until they file for Social Security that works for me - at least I can then look forward to a show a year or something.

    Makes sense.
Ended up getting one show in Nashville.  This new ticket system is so lame, the demand was great for initial sale but based on last tour there will be lots of tickets available, day of.
If I can do a work trip, great.
If we do a trip for fun ans extend for the 2nd show, that is a fun town to hang in.

@Wobbie, you should come to Philly for a random show.
I saw Dream Theatre is coming here.  Interested?
We can dive bar / sushi rip it up.

We are old now.  No doubt.

Yeah got both Pitt shows - solo for night 1 (got lucky in the "Artist Presale") and with a buddy for night 2. Not doing any other shows next year. I think some of yous have a lot more shows than me so got some catching up to do. But yeah I could deal with more varied sets.

We did work headshots and I was like, shit that dude is old.

I want to do Nashville but it was too much to plan at this time of year.  We'll see and hopefully figure it out as we get closer.

Not the same as it was, but love seeing the band as much as I can.  Always a good time and I'm not picky.
