    Since I lost a family member to the Taliban in Afghanistan and I can only wish that we had left sooner or they may not have died...it's not an easy topic.     someone on the radio was saying that there has not been a time in american history where so many things have gone so badly over such a long time. this person was saying the last time was in 1918 where americans had to deal with the spanish flu and the horrors of world war 1.
