    Whether or not it’s permissible for them to hold SHN in September, is anyone else having kind of a hard time imagining Pearl Jam’s first show back being a festival set?

    That's a good point....It would be odd to see them fired up, crowd going nuts, and then to have to shut it down at 2 hours like a normal live band.

    I mean a 2 hour set sounds not great....until Bruce walks out and says "I'm paying for the overtime." (they then proceed to play for another 2 hours with fireworks going off at 1 am).

    Yes.  COVID changed everything.  The band has essentially had 3 wasted years in a way at this point since they took a well deserved break in 2019 and we all know about 2020.

    I don’t think they will be worried as much going forward about “this show needs to be first then that show”

    Playing a show won’t ever be taken for granted again, and if they are able to play outdoors in Asbury Park this fall, they are going to jump all over it

    I agree and think the same goes for Ohana - Ed will be really wanting that to go ahead.
