I still think we will be on for that timeline. I do not think we will meet the whole population of Canada but that will not matter since 40% plus will not get vaccinated this year due to age or being anti vaxxersHughFreakingDillon said:

Well, that has pretty much zero to do with the status of of vaccines in Canada.

the people blaming trudeau for lack of vaccine manufacturing here are the same people that would have called him an idiot if he had brought it back 5 years ago.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

Back on some positive news. UK just had a major announcement and I hope NA follows suit with a similar positive announcement. This is how you roll out how to reopen. Not the trickles of negative news we have been getting the last couple of months even with vaccines rolling out and numbers dropping off.

That’s interesting. Many areas in the US have been allowing outdoor sports and places like zoos to be open for a while now. We actually went to our local zoo over this past weekend. Gyms, restaurants, etc have been open for a long time with face mask regulations. Drive in cinemas never closed and was an easy outlet for entertainment during all of this...PJNB said:Back on some positive news. there are plenty of things that can be done safely with right precautious (masking, distancing, etc). Zoos aren’t the problem in the USA. Kinda gets old for people to pretend we should all just be sitting in our homes as it’s the only safe way forward.hippiemom = goodness0 -

100% agree. Nj just opened up professional sporting events and concerts for fans. (15%). Mask up, socially distance and wash your hands. I don’t see any problem with going to a zoo or going anywhere as long as you are responsible. We went to an old school arcade for my son's bday, we all masked up and kept our distance from other people. My daughter went ice skating saturday night, everyone had their mask on.cincybearcat said:

It gets old maybe because it is old -- that is, it no longer applies to the pandemic as we're currently experiencing it.Merkin Baller said:

But everyone should get their heads out of the fucking sand, look around, and reflect upon the simple truth that a large percentage of half a million US citizens are dead because, in aggregate, we absolutely refused to do our part to protect them.
I SAW PEARL JAM0 -
half a million americans didn't die from masking and distancing outside going for a walk. the science on this one is sound. as long as you are following those protocols, you are at minimal risk outside.Merkin Baller said:

It's just frustrating to have people bitching about trump not following science and the medical/science recommendations. And now, those people don't want to follow science and the medical/science recommendations.hippiemom = goodness0
