What is the going rate for Benaroya Hall vinyl?

Original pressing.

I can’t find much online (eBay, etc.) at the moment. None for sale and I don’t know how to find past sale data.

Thanks in advance.

  • I bought one of these when they first sold them. I have never opened it but have moved plenty of times since then.
If I open the plastic to make sure they have never been broken, does that drastically reduce the price? Looking at it, the plastic is already open where the number is so not sure it would make a difference.
  • From my understanding, all the copies plastic was peeled back so they could be numbered. I think that if anyone still has these sealed, they should get them into the hands of people that want to play them. Sell it now, Get that small fortune!

Yeah I think it’s in the $2K range, unless it’s autographed by the band and sold by Matt Cameron’s son in which case it’ll cost $1,200. Don’t ask me how the economy works.

Condition is more important than being sealed. Near mint opened copes sell for almost as much. If the box is damaged I don’t think being sealed is going to make much of a difference. If it isn’t damaged, why do you think the records might be broken? I’ve moved 3 times in the last 8 years, not a single broken record.

Open it,  spin them. Then you’ll know for sure if they’re “broken.”  😆
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

Unless you have two copies what is the purpose/reason of keeping a record sealed?

I really just have no idea how sturdy records  are. I bought the set along time ago and they are literally the only records I own. Thanks for the info. Sounds like they should be fine.

Fairly recently? I’d love to tell you exactly when but time stopped moving last March. The lucky guy made a whole YouTube video about it which I can’t find at the moment but I’m sure someone else can.

    1. No record player yet and gathering up vinyl is aspirational (that was me for a while)

    2. Collecting vinyl as an investment (that's me with other stuff)

    3. Wanting to have a physical copy of select albums but can't listen to everything due to volume and time constraints (this is me now - I'd say about 1 of every 10 albums I've bought over the last couple years is still sealed)
