It was pretty fun to watch (way better than the 70s Star Wars Holiday Special!)Pap said:
Cool! :plus_one: How was it?goldrush said: On a lighter note, we watched the Lego Star Wars Holiday Special the other day.
We'll definitely end up watching it again“Do not postpone happiness”

Hmm. To me it came off very much like they had used a Wikipedia-article as the script, and dialogue was kept on such a shallow lever. TEXT AND NOT SUBTEXT-the movie. Felt a bit made-for-tv. And when all the Fox famous personalities had to show up (like when they are all sitting around the same desk in the end) it came off as a SNL-sketch.goldrush said:
I enjoyed Bombshell. I may never look at John Lithgow the same way again though!Spiritual_Chaos said:
Great makeup on Theron and Lightow though. Kidman looked weird."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -

Alien
Never saw it before, and didn't really care for it. Just took way too long to get going. They could've shaved about a half-hour off of it. I get why people like it, and why it's influential. And it was alright once the alien popped out of the guy's chest. But getting there felt like it took forever. And even some of the suspenseful stuff had a lame payoff. This scene here is a good example. A suspenseful build...for a one-second shot of the alien...

Also wasn't impressed with Sigourney Weaver. Was expecting her to be a total badass in this movie. I'm guessing that stuff happens in the sequel, as I've read it's more action-packed.

Yeah, Alien is the slow build and Aliens is run and gun almost non-stop. Michael Biehn and Weaver kick ass through out, Paul Reiser is a smarmy sleaze ball and then there's Bill Paxton for some dark humor.Ledbetterman10 said:Alien

Belushi. Documentary on Showtime. It was good. I always liked John Belushi. Got some more insight into his life.0

It should be interesting. I don't know why, but I always liked this actor. K-9 brings back fond memories of early childhood.GlowGirl said:Belushi. Documentary on Showtime. It was good. I always liked John Belushi. Got some more insight into his life.

You are thinking of his brother Jim Belushi. John Belushi was in the original cast of SNL, Animal House, Blues Brothers, among others.Pap said:
