    I was a little banged up last night so I could've imagined that. lol

    This month in general, but especially the last two weeks, he's been crushing it. So hot and cold, so maybe in a stupid short season like this, he can sustain this for another 30 games. Crazy that there's only a month left. Go Phils

    I don't know if it shows, but I really need this team to make the playoffs - even it's as the 8 seed.

    Yeah that is the odd thing.  A team that is perhaps less deserving can always make noise in a short series and gain momentum.

    (What gives me hope if my Reds can re-discover what it is to hit.  Who wants to face Sonny G and BigMouth Bauer in a short series?  Even a far superior team could rather easily find themselves down 0-2)

    it's like the NBA and NHL, half the teams get a show in the playoffs. I wasn't a huge fan of before with only like 8 teams getting in though.

    This is more than what make it in the NBA and NHL. An argument can possibly be made in hockey that a low seed can go all the way, but not in basketball. Baseball is a game rewarded for being good at the marathon. This is the complete opposite of all that. But which is fine...for this year. Just better make the goddamn playoffs.
