Seattle Has Fallen...

Nahhhh! I have 10 family members, several friends, including a couple of close friends, who live and work in and around Seattle. All are alive and well and carrying on. One little chaotic section on town doth not a city of region bring down. But the media (and possibly our resident Seattle expert here?) would lead one to believe the place has fallen into a deep crevasse into the pits of hell!

Whenever I climb up up a Mountain around here I look in the direction of Seattle for a giant smoke cloud. As of yet I've seen nothing so it seems ok. Even saw Mount Rainier once which is a pretty rare sight given it's distance.I do very much miss being able to hop on a boat on cross the border at will.0

It only took about two full months but finally we have some honest reporting. Nothing illustrates the naivete of A Moving Train more then this issue. The sad thing is that it was all so predictable.0 -
Yea well when it becomes a left or right thing people can’t think clearly. How anyone defended this “experiment” is beyond me.BS44325 said:

I wonder how voters are going to respond to all of the nonsense going on in Seattle. Think the mayor will have another term? I bet the city counsel is sweating a bit.Ledbetterman10 said:

I wonder how voters in big cities all around the country are going to respond to the rise in crime. Trump is so bad that he has the potential to drag down the GOP on both the national and local levels. But on the other hand, how long can the citizens of those big cities deal with the likes of Lori Lightfoot, Jenny Durkan, and worst of all, Bill De Blasio? If I was a left-leaning New Yorker who has lived there for decades, I'd probably long to go back to the days of Democratic President Clinton, and Republican Mayor Giuliani. I know Giuliani is a joke these days now that he's just a Trump lackey, but it seems like he did a pretty good job as NYC mayor from a crime standpoint.PJPOWER said:

Giuliani did a great job curbing mafia control in the city even before he was mayor, but that has been long forgotten. New York is indebted to him as far as I’m concerned.Ledbetterman10 said:
