    We used to live in a world in which Nicolas Roeg directed a children’s film. 
    Found and added it, thank you!  I plan to re-enjoy this very soon.

    I also looked up the director and saw a clip of Aria.  Looks interesting and rich, maybe moreso whilst stoned.
    That’s and interesting one, for sure, though I cannot remember all the segments nor which one is Roeg’s. 

    Don’t Look Now     has got to be be one of my favorite experiential films. It’s a heavy, heavy watch, but goddamn, does it ever go beserker. 
    Well, I'm about a third of the way through.  Fairly bizarre so far.

    And holy hell, Julie Christie's body is near perfection.

    That scene was so controversial at the time. Roeg had to make a few cuts so that the MPAA would award it an R rating. I think it might be the most necessary/least gratuitous sex scene on film.

    SC, what did you find “rapey” about Sixteen Candles?  Ahhh, Long Duk Dong. 
    The main dude (Jake?) saying his girlfriend is so wasted he can violate her in any way he wants but nah - he likes Molly Ringwald so the nerd can go do whatever he wants with the the girl who's too wasted to be able to give consent.

    It made me comfortable and was hard to look passed

    Also, the gong-sounds anytime the asian character was on screen...

    If Ed Norton has a hand in anything other than saying his goddamn lines, it's gonna be about Ed Norton. So, ultimately, what you learned, F Me, is that Ed Norton sucks.

    I recorded that on my DVR. I am not a big fan of slow pace movies. Thanks for the heads up. I did see it had an all star cast.

    I watched it only because I’m on an Elizabeth Moss kick, but it kinda sucked. Had some good scenes but felt incomplete. 

    DK, I am now halfway through Don’t Look Now =)
