The Old Guard on Netflix.  I love Charlize so I enjoyed it.  It was a little slow in parts, but the action was great.  I love the idea of it too.  It’ll be interesting what the future holds for the characters if they do another movie.
I fell asleep a few times. I’ll have to try again.

I know almost exactly where I was the moment I stopped trusting the government. Desoto Square Mall Cinema 1-2-3-4, crying tears of rage at the man.

    Harriet.
Damn good acting and the main actress (gal from The Outsider) was spectacular and can really sing.
The UR went through the town I grew up in and I lived learning about it as a kid but there were some things about her I learned from the movie.
    Good flick.

The one with Angelica Huston? I have yet to find that on any of our streaming services.

SC, what did you find “rapey” about Sixteen Candles?  Ahhh, Long Duk Dong.

    It’s on Netflix.

    I love that movie.

We used to live in a world in which Nicolas Roeg directed a children’s film.

Found and added it, thank you!  I plan to re-enjoy this very soon.

I also looked up the director and saw a clip of Aria.  Looks interesting and rich, maybe moreso whilst stoned.

That’s and interesting one, for sure, though I cannot remember all the segments nor which one is Roeg’s.

has got to be be one of my favorite experiential films. It’s a heavy, heavy watch, but goddamn, does it ever go beserker.
