Enjoy the beautiful state of MI and the copious amounts of craft brews they have to offer. I am about 10 minutes south of the SW corner of the state."A smart monkey doesn't monkey around with another monkey's monkey" - Darwin's Theory0

Joe BidenTurning in my absentee ballot for Biden today. I think it’s bull shit that the conservative legislative and judiciary branches of WI are not taking the citizens safety into consideration. Lines all over MKE today to vote.I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.0

On a national basis, the picture is not much brighter for Trump. According to the IBD/TIPP poll, “Likely Democratic nominee Joe Biden saw his lead on Donald Trump widening in the latest poll, even as the number who said they would vote for him dipped slightly. In total, 47% said they would vote for Biden, while just 41% said they would vote for Trump.” Biden’s position has improved since March when he was leading by just three points. Once again, an incumbent president who draws only 41 percent in the midst of a national crisis appears rather weak. (Biden, incidentally, crushes Sen. Bernie Sanders by a 62 percent to 30 percent margin among Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents, one more sign that the Vermont senator has no path to the nomination.)

What's Bernie's path to the nomination? Who, exactly, has endorsed Bernie from the party that Bernie pretends to be from?John Lewis, the Georgia congressman and civil rights icon, formally endorsed Joe Biden for president Tuesday morning, becoming one of the latest in a long list of elected officials who have backed the former vice president. “I read about Joe Biden when he became an elected official. I heard him speak. I met him,” Lewis (D) told reporters on a conference call ahead of the announcement. “And he’s been a friend, a dear friend. He’s a man of courage, a man with a great conscience, a man of faith. He will be a great president. He will lead our country to a better place.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/rep-john-lewis-endorses-joe-bidens-presidential-bid/2020/04/06/0fe4f332-7868-11ea-a130-df573469f094_story.htmlBiden’s campaign also announced an endorsement Tuesday from Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), who considered but ultimately declined to seek the Democratic nomination himself and who represents a general-election battleground state.

The polling data said no such thing. 538 had most State-level voting simulations showing as Clinton winning marginally, with error bars that extended onto the side of Trump winning. That means when you aggregate them, the errors compound on both sides, increasing the spread of cumulative error when all States are put together, and the cumulative error bar agrees that Clinton's odds are better, with some margin of error extending to the 'Trump wins' side. State-level results, if I recall, fell almost entirely within 538's margin of error (and I believe national results fell within them as well). Are stats courses mandatory in schools in the States?static111 said:

The 538 polling numbers within the margin of error? Or other polling numbers that showed Bernie beating Hillary?static111 said:
Remember in 2016 when everyone was so sure of the polling numbers? I do.Halifax2TheMax said:On a national basis, the picture is not much brighter for Trump.
