How do you think Coronavirus will change the world?

I look forward to telling anyone who opposes living wages to go fuck themselves after relying on minimum wagers as "essential" workers for months.
I look forward to telling them to take their non-essential, office working, number crunching selves to a hole and crawl in and rot where they belong.
No offense to office workers and number crunchers with empathy, of course.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -

Clever. I've been thinking about how we would share celebratory cake at work or when people share treats. Old world.0 -
Our economy can no longer think of china as our cheap manufacturer. The cost of this crisis must be included in the cost of anything produced in that country. We need to trade only with countries that have strict food regulations
And biden better be talking about this.0 -

I hope we realize that we have enough resources for everyone on this planet so they can meet their basic needs and thrive. I hope that greed dies a quick death, never to return.

Sealed Decontaminated and Certified Food dispensers kinda like Arcade Claw games will allow you to choose different items to be placed into containers.

Grocery stores....other than scanning, Grocery store technology has not really changed at the same rate as other aspects of modern life.
People stock shelves... That will go away. I see more automation in stocking. More pallet ready shopping like Costco..etc..
Isles will be one way only ... no longer allowed to roam grocery store..customer traffic will flow in one direction only. It will look more like an IKEA showroom.
Check out - scanning tech can do entire cart or items in bags without stopping to interact with checkout counter.

Restaurants who built their entire business around the buffet won’t be willing to let that go. Grocery stores won’t want to invest in what it takes to remodel all their stores. Maybe those things will eventually happen and salad bars/buffets will slowly die and grocery stores will slowly become automated as new stores are being built. But it will be a slow process0 -
