    "Get ahead of" is maybe not the right phrase.  China actually took pretty drastic measures that seem to have succeeded in stopping the spread of the virus inside that country, but those would be much harder to impose in the U.S.  Americans have more freedoms and are less compliant.

    What steps do you think the United States should take so we are up to par with South Korea and Japan? Should the United States shut down schools and large gatherings by force?

    Large gatherings should be canceled. Schools should be canceled where community spread is taking place. None of it matters if we don’t have enough tests though.

    With all due respect, what more do you expect to see in this thread?  The tour is postponed.  There are no make-up dates announced.  There isn’t anything else to say.  They may as well close the thread.

    With all due respect, what more do you expect to see in this thread?  The tour is postponed.  There are no make-up dates announced.  There isn’t anything else to say.  They may as well close the thread.

    So when they reschedule the tour are they going to redistribute the fan club seats?I am just thinking there is going to be a bunch of people ask for refunds. If a person with like a 4 digit membership number gets a refund will anyone be able to buy their ticket or do the seats all get moved around.

    Update to my previous post. Hotels.com refunded my hotel even though it said non refundable, so anyone losing money on travel, contact your hotel or airline. You should get it back!

    The shows are postponed.. Keep the ticket and wait for new dates. OR.... get a refund. Your choice... Unless they cancel, refunded tickets will more than likely go to public sell or fan to fan sell when new date is announced.

    San Jose has banned NHL games and large gatherings ... other mayors will do the same ... any responsible manager would be seriously considering canceling a tour that would be starting at a most inopportune time and most likely facing disruptions outside of their control.

    The members of PJ are Americans, not Chinese.  The shows postponed were in American and Canadian cities, not China.

    Pearl Jam has never played in China...  They did play Taiwan in 1995. If you know anything about history. Then you would understand why that is a shot at China. 

    BTW... The GOP does not run the Govt. Last time I looked Dems were the majority in Congress and the GOP is not mentioned in letter.

    Anybody been reading the reviews for the new album? Not going to be received well by some on here who don't like political music lyrics. That dang Ed though, forcing the band to follow his beliefs. Poor bastards.
    It's a hopeless situation...
