If anyone knows a guy who knows a guy at Sirius send them to check out our little group of the faithful

trying to be indifferent but this is starting to sting
I'm trying not to think about all of the hours I spent being unproductive. It definitely stings.
Honestly it’s getting a bit out of hand... but what are the options other than doing this? Can’t give up in too deep now too much time invested. Just have to keep putting out positive vibes that the next time will be the time for it to happen...

I still have dialing with dead air. I'm stubborn😅
    Still in dialing mode...
May as well. MMJ is on, don’t have to listen to the music.
As opportunities dwindled and tensions mounted, opinions on Kentucky-based band My Morning Jacket threatened to finally fracture the otherwise tight-knit Apollo Dialer community...
ROFL!  I promise I won’t let differences of opinion regarding MMJ fracture our positive community. It’s just that they aren’t very good. That’s all.  =)

Lol, I know I find myself getting more annoyed at the whole thing the longer it drags on.  I’ve grown to dislike every time I hear “The Impact Tracks”

My theory is that if you get the hold music and are hung up on you were likely callers 23, 24, 25 or so.   They take caller 22 and if for some reason they are ineligible they take the next one until the have a verified winner.  I think that time you could hear the other person winning was a mistake and somehow those alternate spots were able to hear everything.
    I agree with this.

I was calling on my cell & landline and my dogs were going nuts. I'm SCREAMING at them to STFU and finally go see what they're barking at - a woman is at my front door at the wrong house, looking to pick up a dollhouse! She obviously heard me screaming from the other room. Ooops
    LOL, that's hilarious!!!
  • had 4 phones going, each on a different provider... got a couple rings but no pickup!  :bawling:
at least my co-workers are entertained.

Last night, at the dinner table with my wife and older son. We are usually respectful of dinner time, but here I am looking down at the app to see what song is playing. My wife looks at me, and simply says “oh, the Pearl Jam thing.”

No other words were spoken on the matter. Because the fact is, she wants to go, too!

How does the Faithful Forum contest work? Do they just announce they are taking calls and you try to call in at that time?

It would be even better if she saw you with a phone on each ear yelling STFU

Twice Rob has just come on and given them away. The second week he talked to listeners, gave some history on the Apollo and then gave them away. He talks about it early and queues up a song for call in start time.

See it’s a sacred thing and we all know PJ brings us together... even when it distracts us during our family time unfortunately... my husband and I were out on Friday and we both started mad dialing and were so focused on it the whole time, trying for just a shot in the dark to see this amazing band

cheers to having the best partners that get it

When you say "Twice Rob has just come on and given them away", what is he drawing entries from?

People who dial as soon as the time slot starts. That’s how I got stuck talking to him the one time that he gave them away later in the show.

Right. He comes on, says he has tickets to give away at song start. Starts the song, then does it. They bring the winner on so at least we all know when to stop.

i had a dream last night i won.  i was talking to the sirius operator then i was disconnected, but sirius called me right back.  but I never gave them my name or email :anguished:
i just purchased an echo for friday night to listen to the live sirius stream from home. as i can only rely on the app while I'm at work.   this has been stressful but fun.  good luck to all.

    38 concerts and counting

He tells you when he’s clearing the lines and when to call.  Call right away, no app / online delay.
