the "trip" no because contests/sweepstakes have a lot of legal elements that have to be adhered to because well, someone stupid with time on their hands once sued somebody.

But you can still win tickets other ways.

Starting next week, listen to Pearl Jam Radio. Call in (I didn't catch the number) when you hear the song of the week.

    Studio version of Go.

Hint: Listening online is a few minutes behind listening via a radio.

Note this is for ALL subscribers to enter.

Missed that thanks. Just went to the rules section and guess that was for the front row contest.

You may need a US proxy. I'm not sure if you need a US or Canadian credit card to match that proxy.

Like I said though...listening online puts you at least 1-2 minutes behind the "live" feed, so you'd be at a major disadvantage.

Prepare for the onslaught of "i've been a fan since the beginning, haven't seen a show since 1992 Lolla, but I really need a ticket to this, gutted I didn't win the contest that several hundred thousand people entered"

oh I don't want to enter the contest, just listen to the show broadcast. so 1-2 minutes behind wouldn't worry me.

I can tell you from experience when u2 did this, forget it. There’s like a 0.3% chance. Nobody get your hopes up. Enjoy the broadcast

Noice - can't wait to listen to it! I've got recordings from a couple of other bands' Apollo shows and will be happy to add PJ to that list. :)

I can't tell, based on the verbiage, will some tickets actually go on sale to anyone?

I doubt it. It’s more of an invite only event

Damn.  Too bad there's no 10C lottery for it.  Good Luck if you're able to score tickets

:( Metallica played the Apollo in 09, my brother was in the fanclub, has been for 20 years, they put us front row, free ticket, free shirt, free drinks all night. Tons of industry people but legacy fan club members had first access. Even the people waiting in front, I saw in the first 10 rows. It was probably the coolest event ill ever see.

This could have went very differently and it makes me sad.

If MSG has tickets for $500 in the nosebleeds at the back it is going to be scary what these go for if someone does try and sell.

Do they issue tickets or just put your name on a list +1? I would hope the latter.
