The Democratic Presidential Debates

David Crosby, who has been feuding with his CSNY band mates, addressed the possibility of a reunion in the penultimate installment of Osiris’ Freak Flag Flying podcast. “If Neil (Young) calls me up and says ‘listen, we’ve got to do some gigs … now that Elizabeth Warren is our candidate we’ve got to do some gigs for her in battleground states, what do you think?’ I’d say ‘what time does the bus leave?,’” David noted. “I’d work it out, I don’t care if [Graham] Nash likes me or not. The purpose would exceed all of that.”
“Comes a time when we all have to set aside our differences for the common good. I believe CSNY have a role to play in saving the country we love. Your support of the Democratic candidate for president would help unite us. Save our country,” wrote a NYA subscriber. “For the common good! Anything is possible,”
CSNY is a whole different thing. Anyone who has followed them all these long years knows that. You can set that in stone.

Save yourself the nuances of dealing with such a...person. Some people are best left ignored. You are too good a dude to take this person's bait."A smart monkey doesn't monkey around with another monkey's monkey" - Darwin's Theory0 -

You are too good a dude to take this person's bait. You're to kind, Darwin.I thought about just letting it slide, but then thought, maybe, just maybe, LindaMarie will look into it a bit and see that some of CSNY's work really has been effective. I know, "If wishes were horses..." LOL. But we'll see.Going back to the original idea, getting those four back together sounds almost out of the question- the feuding between some of those guys is a bit off the charts- but if they could pull it off, I think it could only help. But of course, what we need most is just ordinary folks doing their little part to get out the vote, and get Trump out of the White House. Otherwise, the next four years starting in 2013 will not be pretty. And that's not even a partisan comment. It's just common sense for us to move back into something more stable again. I think a lot of Republicans would agree.

I will be unable to watch the debate tonight. Actually a little disappointed. If anyone is watching and willing to provide personal opinion rundown of how the candidates do...I would appreciate it. Obviously I'll look across the internet, but thought some here would provide good perspective.hippiemom = goodness0

if its true they want the AA vote, get as many as possible to the polls. And back in a big way Grahams challenger. Having read up a little on him, hes qualified on his own merit. add in sending Miss Lindsay home, its a no brainer.

Initial polling here in VA have Sanders and Bloomberg TIED at 22%, with Biden at 18%. I have seen a fair number of Bloom ads on TV here and web pops. I haven't seen anything for Pete (he doesn't have the money to be out so far in front of a primary) and it shows how important ads are. It is interesting that the moderates total 60% and the progressives are 27%. That feels about right for this state. https://www.monmouth.edu/polling-institute/reports/monmouthpoll_va_021820/
(with leaners) Feb.
2020Mike Bloomberg 22% Bernie Sanders 22% Joe Biden 18% Pete Buttigieg 11% Amy Klobuchar 9% Elizabeth Warren 5% Tulsi Gabbard 1% Tom Steyer 0% (VOL) Other <1% (VOL) Undecided 11% (n) (400) 0 -
I'd say Pete doing double digits in VA at this point is pretty good. Because as you say he lacks the $ to get too far ahead in Ads and campaign on the ground.

The Sanders campaign is on the attack, spreading lies about Bloomberg's health specifically, after they have refused to release Bernie's health information. When a candidate has a cardiac "event", likely a heart attack, while on the trail, the public has a right to know.

I think the idea was more to lend support than to save it. Anything that helps is welcome, no?
