Why does Chuck Todd shake and stutter of irritation whenever he covers Bernie Sanders? He even interrupts pundits to point out false things about the man. I get that it's cable news and there are no rules and regulations. But what the hell.0 -

If you ask me if I drew the circles and arrows, then... You can't draw on a tweet. i would have to screenshot it and draw on it. And then it would be an image, and not a linked tweet...Post edited by Spiritual_Chaos on"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -

Spiritual_Chaos said:Bernie is as overpowered as Metal Man in Mega Man 2.That’s a series of hypothetical head to head polls . IMO if respondents are being asked to give up on their preferred choice, there is a good chance they will pick the front runner, so “their vote matters most.” But that’s not the way it works IRL. Bernies gains in national polling can be directly correlated to Warrens decline. Is it coincidence that they were the only M4A candidates getting any attention in the polls?0

I seldom watch TV but did for a while today. The media and money influence on election as seen on TV is a joke. After a while, I'd had enough and turn the damned thing off. Man, oh man, what a crock.

David Crosby, who has been feuding with his CSNY band mates, addressed the possibility of a reunion in the penultimate installment of Osiris’ Freak Flag Flying podcast. “If Neil (Young) calls me up and says ‘listen, we’ve got to do some gigs … now that Elizabeth Warren is our candidate we’ve got to do some gigs for her in battleground states, what do you think?’ I’d say ‘what time does the bus leave?,’” David noted. “I’d work it out, I don’t care if [Graham] Nash likes me or not. The purpose would exceed all of that.”
“Comes a time when we all have to set aside our differences for the common good. I believe CSNY have a role to play in saving the country we love. Your support of the Democratic candidate for president would help unite us. Save our country,” wrote a NYA subscriber. “For the common good! Anything is possible,”

I wish Sanders’ platform was more feasible. He kills it at these town halls and (to me) is the most likable of the bunch. And I do think he has the people’s best interest in mind. I like Bernie as well but what you said, that's why I think Klobuchar is a better choice this time around. She is more moderate and has a better chance of beating Trump. If Bernie gets the nomination, I will, of course, vote for him, but I will be very nervous about the outcome.

If nothing else, Sanders vs. Trump would be amazing political theatre. And while Trump would be the favorite, I wouldn’t say Bernie has zero chance if it’s down to just the two of them. Over the course of a campaign, people that are scared of Sanders’ platform might just concede “Hey, I like this guy more than I like Trump.” It’s possible. That’s what hurt the likes of Hillary, Romney, and Kerry. Just being unlikeable. Trump’s unlikeable too, so he was lucky to go up against Hillary. But here, with just Trump and Sanders, and with what will likely be the largest voter turnout ever, I dunno, enough places in Pennsylvania, Ohio, etc. might flip. If President Donald Trump can happen, anything can.And it’s not like we would be electing Sanders king lol. People think he’s going to turn us into the USSR or something. Please. He’d serve for four years, he’d be blocked by congress at every turn, and then he’d retire or die, his legacy being returning the country to some semblance of normalcy.Post edited by Ledbetterman10 on2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea.
