Prime dates at Fenway that week (Friday 9/17 and Saturday 9/18) just got announced for Aerosmith and NKOTB respectively.Tim Simmons said:
Cubs and Red Sox have week long road trips in Sept, post Labor Day. I am assuming the Wrigley/fenway shows will be around then.bbiggs said:Chris Stapleton announced 8/29 at Wrigley. I don’t recall the dates that we’re getting tossed around as possible dates for PJ there, but that one can get ruled out now. Hopefully this means they play the UC. Just not Lolla...please.
Could possibly shoehorn in 9/15 and/or 9/16, but Fenway looking less and less likely with each passing day.
This weekend we rock Portland0 -
Two nights at UC in October sounds nice.0

They've never played Hartford and Fenway in the same year.Weston1283 said:

I doubt they would play Fenway on back to back nights. All these stadium shows have a night in between.JimmyV said:

Hartford 2008 is a top 10 show by the band."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0

They’ve also never played ballparks in support of a new album besides the one off in 2013JimmyV said:

I wouldn’t call it unreasonable especially if they’re playing back to back multiple times this spring tour2010: Cleveland

Charlottesville was my favorite show in the last decade. It was absolutely perfect. Weather, set, great venue. I've seen about 15 shows at JPJ and I've loved them all. Come back!rhinomagic said:
+1 for Charlottesville. I lived in Raleigh (and had GA tickets) in '16, so to get a neighborhood show on this tour would be most welcome.erocshifty said:I would think that they'd start with some other cities out West this time and maybe go across the Northern hemisphere. Kicking off in Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Chicago, Detroit etc., then finishing the leg somewhere like Boston, Philly, NY or DC/Charlottesville?
I'm not even expecting anything below Charlottesville until maybe next year to be honest. They could hit a couple of places like Charlotte (if we're lucky) or Atlanta. They hit a lot of the Southern cities in 2016. That's why I'm making sure I see them on this leg.0 -
London, Ontario anyone??0
-
London isn't that big? It feels like it was a Spokane kind of thing, where they do a random show in a smaller city.SB117186 said:London, Ontario anyone??
I think it's Victoria, BC's turn
Still... Because we only have 375k people in the Great Victoria area, it seems unlikely, but not impossible. 0 -
I would have to strongly consider skipping Fenway and going to Hartford if these dates came to fruition.Weston1283 said:

After Toronto and Hamilton on this leg? Detroit more likely.London, Ontario anyone??
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.0 -
I don’t think they can do ballparks b2b nights. The grass needs to be uncovered for the day in between. This show, another show, a show here and a show there.0

Also, in 2013 they played XL center in Hartford just days after 2 nights at DCU center in Worcester, which is exactly 1 hour apart driving and only 63 miles. Then in 2016 they played shows at both Miami and Ft. Lauderdale which is just as close
I don't think 2 nights at Fenway would impact a Hartford show in any way2010: Cleveland
