Yes, I think the point is that it would be nice if they could sequence the events such that it would provide us an opportunity to buy shows we missed on in the lotto, rather than doubling up on our first choice.MickeyMouse said:
Dude, Verified Fan is NOT mainly for 10C members who missed out. It is the standard Ticketmaster pre-sale for all major acts to combat scalpers and bots. You're talking about something you know nothing about and it shows. They are as separate as two things can be.mpedone said:MickeyMouse said:
They are 2 completely different things. Neither has anything to do with the other.tdawe said:
This now seems like a huge flaw in the process. They need to allow a mechanism where members who strike out in the lotto can put in for presale codes for shows they lost.The_Giant_Midget said:Stinks the code only works for 1 show. I don’t even need a code for the show I put in for since I won 10c seats. Would rather swap my Forum1 code for MSG
Not really, though, since this seems to be mainly for the 10C members who missed out. So, if we got tickets to a show, why give us the chance to buy MORE for that show instead of people who got shut out, and vice versa? There are people who got tickets to MSG who are getting VF codes for MSG. What sense does that make?Camden 2 2006, Newark 2010, Barclays 2 2013, Central Park 2015, MSG 2 2016, Wrigley 1 2016, Rome 2018, Prague 2018, Asbury Park 2021, EV & Earthlings NYC 1 2022, MSG 2022, Louisville 2022, Dublin 2024, MSG 1 2024, MSG 2 20240 -

Ok. This might have been masked and answered so I apologize. If I received multiple codes, can I give my husband a code and my login for one show and I take the other and try for two shows at the same time?0

You should be. It was on the TM website and in the email received when you registered.ajaxslax said:

Got codes for Oakland. Only problem is I'm not free at 10am tomorrow. Hopefully my friend can snag tix.

VF is to combat scalpers but ironically since MSG is transferrable chances are very good that brokers/scalpers all signed up for MSG codes. NY needs to stop with the payoffs and pretend they care about the little guy,

2 logins from the same account will likely cause both to fail. At least that’s what it says in the email. Good luck with your tickets!Cristina2332 said:Ok. If you're using two different browsers with the same account. Could cause a error code from TM.Cristina2332 said:Ok. This might have been masked and answered so I apologize. I must be blind because I can't find anything that says that. But I'm assuming these codes are tied to the email address I submitted.MickeyMouse said:

Sure, a lot of things would be nice. The point is that this is a public sale, not 10C Lotto Version 2. Verified Fan sales are public. They have nothing to do with any fan club, of any band. You can't use a Citi card in an Amex presale because they are 2 different things. Same basic rules apply here. They are two different things that aren't connected in the eyes of TM and 10C.tdawe said:

I will also be looking for a way to trade 2 MSG for 2 Baltimore, assuming we can figure out a way to pull it off.

Exactly. I wouldn't have registered for Nashville and Toronto if I knew I had tickets. Those were my top two shows though, so of course I'm going to register for them. I'd rather find out I'm waitlisted for shows I didn't get than have the "honor" of buying more tickets for a show I'm already going to.

No. That's a bad idea. Logging in from multiple devices will run the risk of getting booted from one or both devices.Cristina2332 said:Ok. This might have been masked and answered so I apologize. But you had to be a 10c member to register for TM verified. The lottery and the TM verified came in the same email.MickeyMouse said:

Verified fan has NOTHING to do with ten club or anything part of the band. It’s 100% a Ticketmaster think. They use it for all major shows. They aren’t changing it for ten club people. We all got first shot to score.tdawe said:

So I guess I try to buy a pair for NY I don’t need and look for someone who has an extra pair for Baltimore (in the same situation) and we both sell our extra pairs to each other via the new system?tdawe said:
Yes, that’s basically it - except you can’t trade for Baltimore because Baltimore is not trade-for-able. I’m in the same boat. @MickeyMouse this is why the two things are not unrelated.maverick said:Question. I won 10c NYC tickets but lost Baltimore. Now I received a code for NY but not for Baltimore.
