I know this sounds dumb, but I swear I am not making it up.  A friend of a friend knows the booking agent for the American Airlines Center in Dallas.  They said Pearl Jam had a hold on a date (not sure when, not sure if it is still valid).

They played the same venue in 2013 and it was a phenomenal show (way better than most lame ass Dallas crowds).  Ed commented he had family and friends in town for the show, Carrie Brownstein and St. Vincent came out to sing RITFW, there was an Andy Wood tribute.

Would not surprise me if they came back down here and possibly Austin or Houston.  Also, everyone know Texas BBQ is superior to all others.
Hmm... I haven't heard anything from my contact.

In regards to the announcement...Not sure if the same rules/guidelines apply here to the "guessing" process that was Europe, but if so, Dimi started (graciously and correctly) dropping hints several (maybe even 4-6?) weeks before the official announcement.
The only thing that makes me wonder is "LeafsJaysCubsRaptorsFan" comment that we would only have to wait a couple of days. He's usually pretty reliable with his info.

    Maybe Deluxe will sponsor!
Maybe Pizza Corner in Halifax can be the sponsor ;-) A little Moncton to Halifax run would net them about 19000-20000 tickets sold on a back to back! Cmon PJ!

Chicago not happening in Spring but hints towards late summer/Fall
Yeah that makes sense, and I can't complain considering how spoiled we've been. A trip home to Philly would be the best possible consolation prize.

Sadly I think that Dimi just doesn't realize that Atlantic Canada is the king of Fish and Chips ;)

I think Fish and Chips came from someone else, but I am wondering where exactly they think makes the best.

Sounds like we will need to have a pre-show beer! May need ticket buddy for that show if it really happens.

I'm with you. I hope they announce it tomorrow. I think you are spot on that if they don't announce 12/13 then it will most likely be after the holidays.

Hey @dimitrispearljam ...any love for the Motor City?

Next guess is New England somewhere. Time will tell! :) I'd rather Nova Scotia mind you haha

Something else that probably means nothing but is kind of interesting...Brandi Carlile just announced a random one-off Florida show on March 6th. Nothing else booked for 3 weeks before or a month after.

So if Chicago is in the fall, is it fair to speculate arenas in the spring, ballpark shows in the fall?

If it’s Wrigley in the fall, I look forward to less thunderstorms and the chance of snow...

PJ and wrigley need to break up.

Means zero. All of her dates listed are sporadic (I have tickets to one of the MN shows). Plus, she doesn’t need to open for anyone anymore.

I won't be comfortable until I hear that it's definitely NOT Lolla Chicago. I know it would be only about 10 days after Europe, but I really hope they dont do Lolla Chicago ever again.

Like I said, it probably means nothing. But...she is opening up for James Taylor in June.

Chicago seems likely early August, whether that's Wrigley x 2 or Lolla.
