    our current PM is not attending 3 out of the 5 debates for the upcoming Canadian election. people are calling foul, many surmise it might be that he has the most to lose, as he will be under attack, basically, by 4 other people, the entire debate. 

    if the GOP decides the nom anyway, what difference does it make if they don't hold the primaries? isn't that just a way of not wasting anyone's time? are the votes of the people binding, or can the committee choose who they want as the nom regardless of votes cast?
