    Yup, those mid-00's teams right before they broke through just couldn't get past the fucking Marlins. And fucking Billy Wagner, unrelated to anything - that Biggio shot still angers me.

    I respect those Marlins titles. I like their 1997 win over Cleveland because I've always hated Kenny Lofton for having the nerve to try to break up Jim Abbott's no-hitter with a bunt, and I like the 2003 title because the look on the Yankees' faces (and their fans' faces) when it happened was just priceless. Also, they have just as many World Series titles as the Phillies...and the Phillies had like a 90-year head-start on competing for World Series titles.

    That said, besides those two championship years, they usually suck out loud, and this year is no exception. But somehow, they've been a thorn in the our side as of late. And with how the Mets and Nationals are playing, we really need to sweep these Fish Fucks this weekend.
