Every good friend I've made here (or at least those I consider good friends; for all I know, they might think I'm a jerk) has spawned from a shared sense of humor while joking about something that might be tangential to the topic of a thread.
Personally, if I can share a witticism with someone, then I'm generally more willing to overlook any disagreements we might have about any serious issues.I understood the point made was perhaps woman only begin threads due to a serious, heartfelt nature, yet then posted about some of the hilarious times that have been had on threads.Bring on the humor... even in seriousness. I have a great sense of humor (so I think).0 -

I've never had a problem starting threads. I trust this community.

I'm just going to put this out here for motivation...if my threads are going to represent what the women on this board are thinking/feeling, we're going to look like some silly bastards.0

Wow, this is awesome seeing some old timers here, WhoPrincess . . . love you always. And Ms Haiku, holy crap! Haven't seen you in a while. Pfft, Hedo, well WHO doesn't know Hedo. This is nice ladies. And I didn't mean threads have to be serious, and I love the humor from people on this board. This is where the connection was established and sometimes people need support or to vent or ask for humor from their internet connections so that they can get away from the people actually around them daily. All I was saying is when someone starts a conversation/thread, don't post just to derail it. I have to say, this is the most I've posted on this board in years, so it's nice to be back and not feel like every thread is nonsensical and not even worth opening. As Ed would say . . . aaaaaahhhDon't come closer or I'll have to go0

The ladies around here are funnier than most comedians. As for social commentary, I'll take the comedians.Just kidding, start more threads ladies! they won't be worse than mine. The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.0 -
