No idea if SPAC is true, but I'm ready to make Labor Day weekend a Pearl Jam weekend 2 years in a row!

Call me crazy , I assume nothing for 2019 ( Although I could always be surprised ) , I think 2020 will be a killer year. I cannot see them not out in full force in NA with the upcoming presidential election / 30 years as a band ( also aware that really just a couple shows at the end of 1990 ) but still 30 years.

Would be killer if they started out 2020 or even end of 2019 with just a couple surprise shows for 10C only , even if only 5-7 dates in cities and play 2K max capacity venues to bust out new songs. Even if not near me that is fine as long as someone can enjoy.

I know its all pie in the sky but hey its fun to post.

I agree with this. I don't think they'll play this year. If they do, it will be a few shows in the Fall. I'm hoping a new album is out this year. At the very least, an album release date for early 2020. I also agree that 2020 will be a big year (tour, album) and I'm fine waiting until next year to save some cash.
    I LOVE MUSIC.

Anyone think Voodoo Fest is still in play? I am doubtful, but the date fits possible fall 2019 dates and they have yet to announce.

He said PJ. I’m an upstate NY’er, not a huge fan of SPAC but you take what you can get.

Absolutely!  I'll be flying up from Atlanta if it's true.  September 3 is my birthday as well!

Yeah, Pearl Jam is going to play a one off show in the middle of the week in upstate New York.  That'll happen.

It’s random. Random location. Random date. Just passing on the word.

don't believe there will be any tour this year. maybe a one off or two but doubt even that. when eddie can tour solo and make as much money that he would with the band no need to get together unless he really wants to.

The Greek has said nothing. Until he says otherwise there’s no reason to buy this. Why would Pearl Jam uproot themselves, crew, equipment etc for a one off show at a dump shed in  upstate New York?

You mean like 2015 minus the dump shed and upstate?

2015 they toured South America after Global Citizen Festival. I’m sure logistically at least in terms of equipment transport/storage they streamlined that.

SPAC is far from a dump.  It is situated in the middle of a beautiful State Park.  Live Nation and local police have definitely ruined the great atmosphere that used to exist, but the place is not a dump.

Not trying to add fuel to the fire (and I am not taking anything seriously until confirmed by the Greek) but who's to say this is a one off show? It could be the first leak in a string of shows.
