That letter to the editor of my local weekly was pre-Brett.
I got a letter from the government
The other day
I opened and read it
It said they were suckers…

I guess I just don’t see your beef with the whole thing. To me it’s nothing new, a campaign is as much about selling your candidate as it it about trashing your oponent these days. If I knew that someone had trash about my opponent in a race as dirty as politics I’d shut my mouth and let it hit the streets. Shit,Clinton’s campaign paid for a fake dossier so they could legally spy on the oppositions campaign and you’re pissed that hackers found some dirty shit and trumps camp didn’t try to stop them? Come on.
1. Dossier - first, it was not obtained through a criminal act on US soil, nor was it obtained from an adversarial gov't. Last, I do not believe the Clinton campaign used any part of it. If I'm wrong on the last point, please correct me.
2. There are guardrails and lines that should not be crossed. Remember in 08 when that women in the McCain town hall tried to say that Obama wasn't an American? McCain shut that down because he felt it was over the line and beneath the dignity of the office which he sought. Trump should have reacted the same way. He has no moral compass and you know this. Everyone knows this.0 -

But it is disturbing to me that we now have had 2 administrations either mostly ignore, ignore, or accept this. Sickening. Trump should be impeached, not for collusion but for failing to fulfill his duty as president to protect the republic from foreign attacks of all kinds. Not fit for duty if you look out for yourself over country. Of course...I'm no politician so I have no idea if what I am saying could even happen...just how I feel.hippiemom = goodness0 -

As long as....
Peoples 401k are going up up up
People think they are paying less taxes
That the top 1% pay little or no taxes
That the White House is pro-life and anti-gun control
And that a wall gets built with American taxpayers dollars to keep out the invading criminals and terrorists.0 -

this started happening well before 2016 and they knew it.... they even told intelligence agencies to stand down... because Obama wanted/needed Russia to play nice on the Iran deal and Syria... also, the POTUS didn't need Mitch's blessing to protect the country and the election0 -

And also not look back at the few instances of impeachments in the past for some guidelines on political fallout. Seems rather pointless."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -

The House is derelict in duty by not starting the wheels rolling toward impeachment.
It's like Joe Deputy saying I chose not to pull over that drunk driver even though I see him WEAVING ALL OVER THE ROAD, 'cause of all the lawyers and judges and all the binge drinking alcoholic behavior that I do every weekend. Law is law. Or it isn't.
History will not be kind to Mitch the snitch OR Jim Jordan.
