    Which to me is less of a concern - control over velocity.  If it was the other way around then I'd be concerned. His floor should be a #2, ceiling being a #1, and he more than blasted through the ceiling last season.

    I'd say the concern as a whole this year is the rotation, then the bench/offensive depth, then the bullpen. Though Robertson already going to the injured list is pretty annoying.

    I would be really concerned about Nola depending on where he is once he gets to ~8-10 starts.

    Agreed. And he's not the only ace struggling early this year but still, it's a wee bit concerning...

    Last night was only the 6th time in major league history a starting pitcher faced as many as 8 batters who all scored and didn't record an out.  pretty crazy.  Matz's era went from 1-something to the high 4s.  

    it's really nice to see Kingery hitting when he gets his chances.  gives you some more options.  seems like Williams might be on his way out though.  I like his bat off the bench but i guess have to make room for Quinn.

    and yes Herrera still drives me crazy.
