The nearest airport is called "Pyrzowice" and it's located near the city of Katowice. You could say that Chorzów & Katowice are the same city, cause they're both parts of the same aglomeration.

You can also take a flight to "Balice" airport in Kraków, and then travel to Katowice by train. It's not far away, and you can do some sightseeing by the way, cause Kraków it's a much more interesting city to see.

In Katowice/Chorzów you won't see anything interesting (only PJ ;) ).

Someone said earlier something about capacity of Chorzów's stadium. He included only seating places.. :D

I guess, when u consider that there is also a lot of space on the pitch in front of scene, there will be enough space to host over 80.000 people, but I don't think that so many people will come. Hope that the stadium will not look "empty". Well, we'll see.. I can't wait :) See ya all at the concert :)

    so.. airports, transport, etc?

Centralwings and Wizzair fly to Katowice (10-15 km from Chorzow), Ryanair and Easyjet fly to Krakow (60-80 km). You can also fly to Warsaw and take one of our shitty but very cheap trains (3 hrs long journey, about 10-15 euros). If you want to come for a bit longer, DO NOT stay in Chorzow/Katowice. Choose Krakow or Warsaw instead.

The only thing about the show the 10c can give us, is if there will be a fanclub presale. Everything else is clear.

Sony/BMG Poland announced the show. It IS official.

Oh, someone is nitpicking here...According to wikipedia there is an ongoing debate about where the centre of Europe really is. Slovakia is just one of several possible centres. Germany though is the geographical centre of the European Union.

The Intercity and Eurocity trains are just fine and comfortable. The cheaper ones are shitty and you shouldn't take 'em if you want to think good of Poland when you leave. ;)
