i reckon a certain number of tickets are reserved for 10c. is has to be like this, hasn't it????????
even if they are, last year there was very little (300 max per show).
so they need to sell them BEFORE the general sale, so if you miss out on the 10c one, you can get the normal one.
something that nobody seems to have noted but he polish site originally put the starting time at 3pm..
that's strange..maybe they'll do a mini-festival and have 2-3 opening bands?...and play 4 hours themselves
Not so nice: the English side of the site has taken down the possibility to order tickets but the polish side still has it
so eefectively tickets are already on sale!
Peace, friends!
Lets talk about PJ in Poland, shall we
And not get tangled in discussion that are prolly better for AET forum
Peace.
Agree! And I think we all have one language in common...PJ language
Makes much more sense to live in a present tense... My present tense is TOUR 2007...
They drive people mad, there are official announcements about Poland and now they've removed the date from the promotor's site. We need to book flights and we just WANT TO KNOW!!! Mercy!!!
einat don't worry so much, it will be great.
Tell me if you're going for sure - we'll plan our trip together, and hopefully Noa can come too. (Roni - Noa's friend you met in Athens..)
Roni! I just saw this! crazy aint it? I'm thinking of flying to Prague and taking a train into Poland, the place is close to the border... I guess we can make it a Tiyul Shorashim, right? Although my roots were smart enough to move to America in the late 1800's...
Anyway, it all depends on weather I can make some money by the time of the show... (Yeah, not on any confirmation from the 10c whatsoever)
I think the reason doors will open so early is that there is a second (and maybe third) big band that's opening for Pearl Jam. Otherwise there is no way for Pearl Jam alone to fill this place.
Can't see PJ sellout that place on their own. There must be other bands. If they sell it out though it will be the biggest headlining gig they have ever played.
2006:Arnhem,Bern,Berlin

Heinekn sucks. Eddie confirmed that in Halifax 05. Can't see them play that. I would refuse to go there.
Very funny.
Ok, so dont go. If they play it, Im going cause its close to me.
Anything is possible now. I wont say anything
until we get the word from 10c.

I don't think anyone consider PJ 'sellouting' a show on this stadium - probably only U2 did that in the past. I bet the promoter will be happy with 30-40 thousand tickets sold.
Maybe it´s the only show in 2007, so they hope that all fans, from all over the world will come=)?
On the one hand it would be sweet but on the other too many other countries deserve the privelege.I'm for European tour not one place and some festivals.
but how can you WAIT for a PRE-sale anyway?
It's supposed to come first! hence the PRE ?
Yeah, I know. To be honest I had thought that there won't be a pre-sale at all, since they touring mainly festivals this year, but this "little birdy" complicated the situation a little. Maybe 10c will give the wristband to every member with a ticket?
Slaski Stadium is very big so I'm afraid as someone mentionned this may be the only show in Eastern-Europe...and although I surely will be there in Chorzow once again after U2's kick ass 2005 show there...I will be terribly sad if PJ won't come back to Hungary once again and there will be no other shows not very far from Budapest:(:(:(:(
But I'm getting to be more sure of a date at Nova Rock Festival (Austrian-Hungarian border):)
it will be held 15-17 June!!!!!!!! two days after the show in Polska:D that would be fantastic

is it just a great idea, or you've heard any rumours...?
stood at the top of the hill over my town i was found. finding myself used to be hard but now i see the light. this is music.
I was just wondering...but someone posted that there were strong rumours about PJ at Nickelsdorf...so who knows?

I guess the Poland show and the tour are now officially confirmed by the Ten Club
Due to time zone differences and announcement schedules, you are
right, it does not leave the Ten Club enough time for a "pre-sale." However,
rest assured that when the tour is officially announced (very soon) there
will be an opportunity for fan club members to attend the Katowice show.
Please be patient with us and know that we are working for you!
More info later ... Stay posted to http://www.pearljam.com for details in the very
near future.

Probably? So Poland's a pretty laid back country then, eh?
I'd expect that from Italy really.

No, the gates open at 3pm, the show starts later.
Besides there will be some time to buy a beer or two and talk a little bit with other fans.
Fuck, why do we have to wait soooo long for them..
PS. I'll let you know when I'll buy a ticket, hope it'll be soon (I'll post a photo of it )
