Interesting. I'm curious if any other places in Eastern/Norhtern Europe have "official" announcements being made now. You'd think they would all become "official" at the same time.

If you remember last year, you know that Ten Club was the last source to confirm all the shows.

Anyway, official Sony/BMG Poland statement says Polish show is the only one in Central-Eastern Europe.

    If you speak Polish:
W związku z zamieszaniem medialnym wokół planowanego polskiego koncertu legendy grunge’u, Pearl Jam,

Because of all the rumours that appeared in the media today, Live Nation proudly informs, that Pearl Jam will play in Poland on June 13th in Chorzow.
    (...)
In 2007 Pearl Jam goes on a short tour to promote their last effort and luckily they won't omit Poland. The show in our country is going to be the only one in Central-Eastern Europe.
    (...)
    The prices are:
    110 zł - GA
    110 zł - seats 1
    165 zł - seats 2

It's all over the radio. The 16th in english version must be a typo.

Yeah, it was the same last year. Holland was one of the first to be confirmed. Reading/Leeds followed. Aizkena followed. Marseille/Paris followed. A couple of Italy shows followed. Berlin followed... Ten Club came waaaaayyy behind. :)

I was referring to the "only show in central/eastern europe" thing. Rock am Ring is still just a (strong) rumour.

    I say: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAH! :D
The worst enemies of music? Money and Mathematics. Combined with music, they both do the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do. Money makes music cheap, mathematics makes it stupid and predictable.

I have actually no idea where Rock am Ring & Rock Im Park are. I thought one of them was not so far away from Belgium. The other was way south. But I could be wrong.
If they'd tour Europe and they'd leave out Germany, I'd actually be kinda surprised.

if they were to do Norway, I´d say this is a probable place, would fit them like a glow.... http://www.norwegianwood.no/ and the date would fit great to the Poland date... I check it every day ...lol..

  • I'm quite positive on a german date as well.
Imo, i believe "central/eastern europe" means poland, russia, ukraine, hungary, austria, romania etc. Not Germany.

And I'm still hoping for a french date........ in Paris again !!!!
    (regular venue not a festival)

    Fingers crossed....
Still waiting for a gig in Paris (in a venue not a festival) since 2006...
    Spin, spin !!

    London + Werchter 2007
    Arras + Belfast 2010

won't there be any 10c tickets then??
