    ^ is that Dual 1229?  If so, how do you like it and have you compared it to more modern equipment like Rega Pro-ject, VPI, etc.

    1219. I’m not flush enough for any of those modern turntables you mentioned. I can say that it sounds better than my AT-LP 120 and my buddy’s Technics SL-1200.

    Just my opinion...but this record has always struck me as being staggeringly good. 

    A cassette listener for a long time, I had no idea that Mr. Richards was involved with Lonely at the Top.

    As 1985 as you can get for me.

    The CD version clocks a little over 76 minutes and the LP omits 2 tracks from it which are Rock and a Hard Place and Can't Be Seen. The LP version runs for 67 minutes (33 on Side 1 and 34 on Side 2). The sound is really good and its 28 years old. Dutch Pressing and it was released 1991.
