It's actually hard to say whether that's gerrymandered or not. There are no high population centers in that area that are being avoided. it's all red there until you get Toledo. Districts are created out of population, not area. IN other words you could re-draw that in lots of different ways and it's probably red any way you slice it.mickeyrat said:

How many states or countries, excluding shoreline borders, look like that?
Its not always the specific district you are viewing, but what that districts allows to occur elsewhere in the state.
Either way, Ohio redistricted in 2010 which enabled a slightly red state to have a good chance to limit the Democrat seats to 4 out of 16
And they are getting sued:
