    computer crashed last night. Seems it could be the same problem dave had. Can't boot up. Trying to fix it... hope it works!!!!! Using daughter's laptop at the moment....

    Well... it froze so I had to shut it at the wall. Which means most probably my boot.ini file is corrupted. Trying to reboot from disk and getting into the recovery bit is proving to be a bit of a hassle and had to use my daughter's OS disk (mine didn't have the boot up bit). Managed to do that... seemed to log on OK but then after a few minutes came up with a "irql not less or equal stop 0x0000000a". Me now thinks that there is a little driver clash somewhere.....

    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Not a virus!!!!! Shut down at the wall.. corrupted boot.ini file. Also... had all my internet security and virus stuff upgraded on time.... :p.

    Anyway... problem fixed! I'm back on my desktop.
