It’s ok. Donny says Kim Jong Un is “quite a guy” and “trusts him”. Says he “takes him at his word”. So hey no worries folks. #worstPresidentEver
I just don't get how some Republicans can sell out their own morals for this guy. A common trait of right-wingers is patriotism (sometimes over-the-top patriotism). They're very proud to be American, which is cool. But what is less American than the president siding with foreign leaders over his own intelligence agencies? If an American journalist was murdered in Saudi Arabia during the Obama years, right-wingers might want to go to war with Saudi Arabia...then they'd call Obama a pussy when it doesn't happen. Trump? He takes the Saudi Prince's word that they didn't kill the journalist, and Trump is like "Welp, he said he didn't do it."

Seriously, how can any patriotic American not be turned off by a president that gets along with the Russian president, Saudi Arabian prince, and North Korean dictator, but he can't get along with the Canadian prime minister or the German chancellor?
I guess you didn’t see Chris Ruth’s Steaks Christie interview with Chris Cuomo or Rick Sanatorium regularly on CNN panels? It’s absolutely mind boggling.
Good ole Rick Santorum. He's actually the first politician I've ever heard of (not counting Presidents and Vice-Presidents). My sister and I were walking home from he bus stop sometime in the mid-90's and I found a Vote for Santorum brochure. Likely from when he first ran for Senate. I picked it up, took it home, and asked my dad "Dad are you going to vote for Rick Santorum?" and he was like "What? No! Why would I do that?" Any mention of Santorum harkens me back to this moment.

So Trump is saying Cohen lied because of a manuscript he wrote in 2017......yet he didn't flip until 2018.

The president seems more unhinged than usual today.
Yeah he lied about everything except that he didn't know of any Russian collusion....imagine that

People make fun of that but it matters.  Unless you don't want to have anyone to support everyone else in retirement.

They do make fun because a lot of people forget things like the morals, ethics, and doing the right thing if they are doing well economically.

And they clearly  don't  care if current policies are causing prices to go up, I come to go down, and if the policies are unconstitutional and unAmerican

Trump and everyone who blindly supports him in that party are burning the Republican Party to the ground.

It's really amazing.  The praise of despots and the distrust of his own resources.  No other presidents would have gotten away with it.  And I don't mean "the black guy" or even "democrats."  I mean all of 'em.  Not even the wildly popular Ronald Reagan. (Of course I can't imagine any of them doing it, either).

There's something different here.  Something that really does make it cult-like.  That and/or with social media "owning libs" and "go Red; beat Blue" is what dominates the thoughts now.

Yeah we've decided that the most important enemy to fight is our neighbor.  Not Russia, not NK, not China, not anyone else.  It's the guy next door to use that wants to keep his guns...or the lady down the street that wants the city to recycle more effectively.  It is the guy that is so awful cause he goes out and eats a steak.  It's so stupid.  We have forgotten how to disagree agreeably.  We see compromise as a weakness.  We see changing ones views as a weakness.  We see conceding any points as a weakness.  We only see the Team jersey...and it use to be red, white and blue...now you have to pick one color.

Today's reality is not an accident, it's built on a stack of shitty yesterdays, of which we are exclusively responsible for. We haven't forgotten how to disagree agreeably, we've been taught not to, and have continued to teach each other not to.

I blame everything on 1968.  I'm not kidding.  That's the year the US truly split, and not on the Mason Dixon line.  We've never recovered.  When those same boomers that split us in 68 took over politics in the mid 90's, everything got worse.
