Probably way too early to tell.  I think if Biden runs, he stands a good chance and would defeat Trump, of course, I never thought Trump would win the Presidency...lol

Hard to say with 8 million hats in the ring.  I think he has a shot because of the regret of handing it to Hillary last time.  I could see it coming down to personality (Beto) Vs Experience (Biden) But one of the women is going to separate herself from the others.

I’m a bit surprised.  Thought you’d go female.

Voting for a woman just to vote for a woman is not the way to go about this.

Have Bernie get a good VP and that would bolster his nomination.

No way Kamala gets even close to a primary.

I don't see how that is any less sexist that if I were to say I could never vote for a woman. I'm dumbfounded every time i hear someone say something along those lines (which doesn't seem that uncommon). Same with color or pretty much any reason other than political and where they stand on views.

You saying that "you will only vote for a woman" is sexist, yes.  Me telling you that it's the wrong way to go about voting is not.

Your mind is made up already when saying this so how is that not sexist?

My mind isn't made up yet.  Not sure whom I'm voting for.

I agree, he had his time. I feel like this is more about keeping his name in the news than trying to do what's right for the country.

Most of his policy ideas are being touted by the other candidates, so it's not like he needs to be there to pull the party more left. Those discussions were going to happen without him.

I say this as a guy who likes Bernie.

I was really hoping Bernie would stay out of the race. I don't think he can get the nomination and is not someone I feel confident could beat Trump. Plus, I don't think I can put up with listening to him debate or campaign...again.
    It's a hopeless situation...

I voted for only women in 2018... plan on doing the same for years to come until we've reached some level of balance in our representation... this also includes minorities, non-christian, and LGBTQ candidates... there are some exceptions to this, and the 2020 primary and POTUS election likely falls into that category... if I'm feeling gangsta I'm going Bernie... if I'm feeling moderate I'm going with Uncle Joe... and of course this can all change

And, drum roll please, i don't give AF is people like it or not... what is sexist is the history of politics in this country being the boys club, fuck that noise

I guess I wasn't clear, I was agreeing with you.
I just think anyone who says they will vote for someone because they are a woman is equally as sexist as if I were to say I won't vote for someone because they are a woman. I was just pointing out that I hear all the time "I'll vote for the next woman" and I think that is wrong.

I’m 99.9% not voting for Bernie. If he’s the nominee I’m not sure I’ll vote at all.

    Nice bookshelves, Bernie.

But seriously, I really like Bernie, I stand behind what he says- it's all true- and I think he would be a VAST improvement over Trump (but then so would almost anyone), but to be honest, seeing Bernie running again leaves me feeling weary of the whole business.

There's nothing wrong with voting for all women if you thought they were the best candidate.  But if you wanted real change, wouldn't it be a better message to say "give me a clear agenda I agree with and you have my vote" instead of "don't have a penis and you have my vote"? That sounds contradictory to everything we try to teach kids and young women.
