GA standing pit for EV solo shows? Yikes
Agreed.  People are now going to be lining up for days in order to get rail.   ugh
If it's wuhlheide in Berlin I'll be going in 10 minutes before non 10c opens and bet I'll still get one of the best seats in the place
Of course you will get some of the best seats but you will be nowhere near the front with a pit that size.
I think he's talking about using 10c early entry just before GA gets let in. At Wuhlheide you will be very close to the stage if you do that.

I've been before it's not as big as it looks and for ed id rather chill out seated a bit further back
Is the pit a lot bigger than Waldbühne? Pictures make it look much larger.

Yes it is but the seats at the side in the first sections are still pretty close to the stage. For an ed show I don't think I need to be in the pit

I'd still recommend it if you are considering it

Just seen the latest promo image from Live Nation for The Who at Wembley and its now listed as European exclusive so any extra EV shows wont be with them. Interesting change, maybe to help ticket sales??

Wow, looks like they really struggle to sell tickets.

Let‘s see whether Eddie skips Dublin or plays at another venue. Or maybe some rumored dates get shifted?

Very interesting.....been thinking the lack of The Who / Ed Dublin show announcement must be due to poor Wembley ticket sales....look like it may well be the case?
Just hope if The Who pull their Dublin gig,
    Ed still plays solo show........

He has a standing pit at Ohana every year, right? I've never heard anyone complain about that.
It is a beach, so temp bleachers in the back and open field up front. It is a great scene and good value for the money since there are other name headliners and Eddie plays with other bands.

I like the way they’ve added ‘full set’ under Ed’s name, maybe to drum up more interest in wavering PJ fans maybe, but oh well, I still ain’t going as the place is a toilet and the sound ain’t any better, plus the exorbitant prices being charged.. I’m happy with my 2 Italian dates so far and whenever we get news of the other dates then I’ll see what I fancy  =)

Very interesting change. I mentioned already several pages ago, that maybe the Wembley show isn't selling and they are having doubts about Dublin. Let's hope that Eddie will book a solo-Dublin show instead. Obviuously not at the same venue, whatever it was going to be. Maybe something a bit more intimate.

Anyway, bring on the announcement Eddie, we've been waiting long enough

Announcing any more stadium / outdoor shows with similar prices, when they can't even sell in their hometown with support line up like that, would be shooting themselves in the foot. So yeah, it means the only one.

I think 'not selling well' is an understatement. I just went on ticketmaster. You can basically pick a seat anywhere in the stadium.

Have they dropped prices yet? I'm sure they will if it's that bad.

No new music from Eddie and touring just two years ago can only get you so far. Really hoping that it was as rumoured a Who and Eddie show in Dublin and now they are going ahead with a couple of Eddie solo shows instead. I may make that trip!
