It had shitty actors, shitty writing, shitty directing, but it was a great film. You're wrong on this one, mcgruff.

Yes you do. Unless we have anyone from Savannah, GA here. Where parts of Forest Gump was filmed. Tom Hanks wins all.

Spring Breakers was kind of cool watching in the cinema.

Pretty much ALL swedish, and a bunch of danish, films are filmed in my hometown. Lars von Triers movies etc.

There are stories that parts of Night of the Living Dead were filmed in a cemetery in my hometown. These are false reports however as the film was recorded in and around Pittsburgh. They do mention Cumberland in the movie, however.
We are also home to William H. Macy and Eddie Deezen.

My hometown cannot compete with all of the above...I mean the Bluth Banana Stand? Fucking awesome!

I know we've already moved past this, but dankind is always kind enough to write a list upon request, so I feel I should do the same (at least once).

    Before Sunrise

    Moonrise Kingdom

Rushmore (the couple being Max and Herman Blume)

    True Romance

    Moonstruck

    Moonlight Mile

The Portrait of a Lady(Isabel's cousin Ralph loved her so much he gave her his inheritance, even though it would mean she would travel the world and leave him behind). It had disastrous results, but it was a touching love story.

    Out of Africa

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

    Stranger Than Fiction

    When Harry Met Sally

Something's Gotta Give (Corny, but I like Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton together).

    Annie Hall
